  • awesome!!!!! =)

  • まるこしまんた探偵事務所を思い出してしました。不謹慎ですみません。

  • I miss Tetsuo.

  • the reason why i love music is casiopea

  • Narucho is STILL the baddest dude on BASS.

  • vanna fa nu bucchinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!

  • 素晴らしい

  • this is Dream Theater in jazz ...

  • Haven;t heard Casiopea for a very long time. Thanks for this upload.

  • Casiopea were a jazz fusion novelty when they first aired in the late 70s.The slap funkin bass playing,Cobham drum feel, and guitarist with comparisons to numerous to mention, had you asking, are they really from Japan. What a great promo for Yamaha, nearly every instrument was there handiwork.

  • This just blows me away I love them so much talent

  • THIS BAND IS FUCKING SICK!

  • That's so amazing precise that you can think it was played by a computer.

  • just found this band online....WOOOOW!!!!

  • Es una lástima que no se los conozca mas en América Latina...

  • Man gotta love Casiopea. The bass line is very Jaco.

  • It's groovy as hell!! can you suggest some other bands who are using that kind of bass lines?

  • @tisenderbluesman : I would recommend "Black Market (live)", "Teen Town" & "Volcano for Hire" by Weather Report. "Field Atheletor" and "Oriental Makin' Love" by Naniwa Express (of Japan).

  • @Thatguy301 I know what you mean, but this seems way more Level 42 to me- very Mark King like bass line. Either way, I get it! Great stuff!

  • Very tight

  • Wow, this is the first japanese jazz band I've heard... ever. It sounds great! What other bands are out there??

  • Runic--Check out T-Square here on youtube. There are several "battle of the band" videos between Casiopea and T-Square.

  • Try to look for Ottotrio, it has members of 4 Bands...

Casiopea, T-Square, Jimsaku and Synchronized DNA.

  • check out t-square and dimension

  • @RunicArtist : Many many many. Need to know some of them ? Tell us your taste and can find a good one.

  • @GettyJapan Zappa, Quasimode, Herbie Hancock (headhunters, man-child,), Grant Green.

I just love jazz, and music in general, with energy and decent focus. Some Zappa/Mothers jam sessions are my examples of seemingly without focus (Weasels ripped my flesh opening and closing tracks lol). That help? (Sorry for the late-ness on my part)

  • They're ALL very talented!

  • the bass line is great! but, narusei is a steady player. not a a great player when it comes to a solo. i like him better just for rhythm, not for solo. his solo is kind a harsh...i wish he can give a great groove on his solo rather than doing a lot of sound effect..

  • Narucho is cool.

  • one of the best bass lines ive ever heard!!!

im a drummer... wish i could play like jimbo.... QQ

  • yeah its sweet, i wish i came up with it on my bass lol

agh well i'l have to keep trying to come up with funk juice like that

  • That bass line is to die for.

  • Faaaaaaaaantasic

i was listening to these guys back in the eighties reminds me of level42

    well done guys

  • ..I LOVE THEM! ...i listen to them since i was 9..

..and it's great ..i have found all this vids on youtube! ..thank you guys 4 posting them!

  • nice bass line

  • phenomenal

  • very superb

  • It's amazing still brilliant even now.

  • Issei Noro kicks ass.

  • I love this song so much.

This version i loosely tabbed out on GuitarPro(Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keys), though i've kept the solo areas open for improvised soloing except the keys bit which i made up(for cover live performance for my own band).

Can't believe this song is like 30 years old!
