This Castlevania begs for a remake with better graphics, character development, and backstory. Meanwhile, the gameplay and music were top-notch. Literally top-notch, in my opinion. CotM has been, and probably always will be, my favorite title on the GBA- not even both Golden Sun games saw more hours put into them.

It annoys me that this game is called a masterpiece when almost all of themusic is taken from other castlevania titles. Yet at the same time, you can't hate this game. Call me a hypocrite I guess.

My favorite song from one of my favorite Castlevanias. For me, this was the high-point of the series: SotN, LoD, and CotM. HoD, AoS, and LoI were good. But after that I started to lose my enthusiasm quickly.

Definitely one of the best music in CotM. It's a remixed Aquarius theme, but they made it better here. It feels a bit jazzy at the beginning with the lower notes playing.

I find that CotM has the second best soundtrack collections. SotN has the best.

That's only in the inverted castle. The inverted dungeon, mine, library and chapel have lost painting. Castle keep and floating catacombs keep their normal music. The other seven have toccata.

OMG! I remember this song. When I was younger I loved playing Circle of the Moon. It was one of the best handheld games I ever played. At the time, the music and graphics were unmatched among portable games. I lost the cartridge when I reached Dracula, so I never beat the game. :(

In Circle he moved to damn slow you were constantly double tapping the button and it was really annoying.

Alucard wasn't much faster than Nathan walking, and was slower than Nathan running. And unless you're fighting, or suck at jumping over enemies, you only had to double tap maybe once per room or less when traveling.

CotM is often critizised for its musical score containing too many remixes. Imo, remixes are essential for CV, they are just too well performed ^_~
