somewhat depending on what note and where you are playing the note it will enhance the harmonic feedback, and yes you will get uncontrollable feedback if you have too much volume on the slider on the pedal

ge 7 never helped me one bit. just made every frequency sound digital. this pedal is the way to go in my opinion.

I run a floor pod. to a power amp, to power my full stack, no head, just the floor pod. so i can't adjust it that well. I have 2 outputs on my pedal that run into 2 inputs on the power amp, and i was thinking about buying 2 of these. I play hardcore death metal. is this the pedal I want?

i dont know what you want, but this pedal is one of the best eq pedals made, its analog, made of metal rather than plastic, and it gives a volume and gain boost and 10 frequencies to tweak

i have the same eq and i run mine through the effects loop while im using the overdrive channel on my amp witch sounds alot punchier giving it great balance between the high end and the low end.

If you have an EQ do you set your amp's eq's all just on 5 or do you tweak with both the pedal and amp?

Regarding the highest frequency... if I were you, if I can't hear it, I would leave it at zero instead of cutting it.
