even w/a few fuck ups these guys still dominate! how difficult it must b to play their complex music nite after nite w/almost total perfection! one of the greatest bands ever! love U Rush!!!
Lol the washing machines, or sometimes rotisserie chicken ovens are there because geddy doent need as many amps as alex, so its just to take up the empty space behind geddy in a funny way, when I saw them there was even a cook that would come out randomly to baste the chickens periodically...
"Tight" doesn't quite cover it. Not sure even "telepathic" does. Guess that's what you get from playing with exactly the same other talented guys for more than 30 years, and always putting the music above your egos.
And the images behind them add to an already great performance.
@MrProveyron It's because Geddy Lee doesn't need amps. (No seriously, he goes through the Front Of House console, rather than using traditional bass amps). After all, Coin operated driers really give you the best soloing tone.
missione compiuta......almeno in parte ho partecipato alla serenita' di mio fratello.....orgogliosa e felice.le nottate nn sono state poi tt perse!!!!!
big drum and bass mistakes, but I think if you've been doing 5-6 nights a week you're bound to be tired and just not in tip top shape. Regardless Rush is still and will always be the shizznitz!
@morpholino How does that saying go? Oh yeah...fighting on the internet is like competing in the Special Olympics...even if you win, you're still a retard. You win!
the cool part is that those rotisseries house Geddy's amps and cabinets. Well amp and cabinet emulators at least. I'm not so sure about the washing machines.
Actualy the washing machiens and chicken rotisseries are not his amp simmulator they have no affect on Geddy's sound they'er there for stage balence. Since Geddy uses amp simmulators back stage he doesn't need amps and because Alex has that big heavy set up, with nothing on Geddy's side of the stage the stage would be very unevenly weighted. Which is a very bad thing lol.
Well, I'm sorry but I don't ever recall seeing mics on Geddy's chicken rotisseries. But if they are there then they probably do that just for fun, to make you think there amps. :)
Ummm, you referring to me? don't think so. For you to say that it "does not sound like they messed up ever" makes me think you are. I am THEE biggest Rush fan ever, along with 1,000,000's of others. Yes it is true, they did mess up, but it's all good. Rush RULES
A couple of other things I noticed. First :38 Ged motions for more monitor, 1:12, Neil flubs drum line, 1:30 Alex motions for more vocal monitor, and the funny part. 1:55 Geddy scolding his left hand!!!!!!!
whoa, at 2:30 Geddy messes up! I think they , as in Geddy and Alex had in-ear monitor volume issues. In the beginning Geddy motions for more volume and Alex as well, when he starts singing
Eesh! Anybody catch that little flub Geddy did like around 2:33?? Good thing Neil compensated. Otherwise, very good preformance! I too love the sound quality!!
