The city of McAllen is planning on fireworks for 2011 new years eve, planning a display like this takes close to a year to plan. To the person whos father planned this event tell your dad he did a great job! To the great people of McAllen we are working to bring you a fireworks display, one like you have never seen before. And thank you to all who have posted videos on this event it help us greatly.

i went to the one from last year for 2010 i thought it was better in this year we went late so we didnt had much time to experience it when 2009 was comming lol but i liked that their making McAllen better i live like 2 blocks away from their so yea i could just walk lol oh @jomamma29 thanks to ur dad that he brought NEW YORK Time Square to McAllen yay go McAllen!!!!!!!!!

No fireworks yet in other citys they have fireworks...Mcallen don't know how to through a party.. too many city ordinance..

they dont have pyro stuff cause its in a crowded are and its in a small part of town

Wow! looked kind of cool...but not sure...seedy part of town...usually spend with family...no fireworks kind of sad...but sounds cool

I was part of the organization spearheading the event. There were no fireworks because of City ordinances forbidding pyro in city zones...Heart of the City hopes everyone including yourself had a good time. Please come again next year when it will be bigger and better!
