hey you deff. a beginner and i dnt think your bad, you have the chords down, your in wrong tune try this and it will sound beautiful bro trust me...Bm,F#,A,E,G,D,Em,F# then back too the biginning (Bm) and you got to build up finger strength. (man problem I had) But.. you need to press harder on the strings and it wont have that dulld out sound. KEEP PRESSING HARD EVEN IF IT HURTS LIKE HELL you goto build calusus. Once you do that everything just falls into place. Youll be abel to hammer on & ect

fret dots is a way of cheating. look up Jose Feliciano, the greatest blind guitarist, i don't think he knows what fret dots mean. nah im playing around about the cheating thing. im just trying to point out that u really don't need fret dots. Fret dots r helpful But when u compare it to a blind guitarist, u know that ur just being lazy and not really playing guitar.

you should grow as a musician and feel where all the notes are at on a guitar.
