@GlowMyBoat I just hink it is nice to see George when he is young. He talks about this part of his life later on. It is interesting to actually see it. No matter how old or how much it wasn't like George as he was when he got older. This is George. As he said in one of hs bits, you are every age you ever were, you never stop being 2 for example. This was him at one time. I love him no matter what.

If you listen to Class Clown, you'll hear about George's years in Catholic school. His self examination surrounding his Irish Catholic upbringing and various 'institutions' within the church and his opinions of them. Very funny stuff! Enjoy!

If you read Carlin's book "Last Words" he tells that this was the cusp of his change. He regrets not doing more political or edgy humor for the Smothers.

That was before, when he lived his so called "Dream of danny K". It;s the clean, mainstream, people pleasing comedian who makes it in the movies and becomes a big mainstream success. That was his dream up until somewhere in the 70's when he realized his place in comedy.
