I pretty much agree on SFxT. I was pleasantly surprised to see they'd added Pac-Man, until I saw that he's basically piloting a mokujin the whole time. They could've given him a very unique and hilarious playing style by making him into a lightweight, Viewtiful Joe/Arthur-type fighter in this.
@ViewtifulShishigami I never played PW games but I thought that there was no voice acting except for those three words. If that's case I think it's silly to compare the two voice actors and say the one with only three words is better. UMvC3 voice is good perfect, except his "Take... that" and "Objection." They should have been as exciting as they are in the games.
@ViewtifulShishigami The regular lines are read fine there's just not enough... what's the word I'm looking for, gravitas? Power. UMPH! Behind the classic lines :/
@Keirnoth I get the feeling that the voice director and the VA haven't played the Ace Attorney games. Those 3 lines are basically the soul of the game, he's supposed to put his all and shout with every inch of his being. It's just not convincing. This isn't a courtroom drama, it's Phoenix-Fucking-Wright, bitches!
I just heard about Ace Attorney 5, and I suddenly couldn't stop watching this video.

Yeah, I found PW's current voice set to be rather... well, anemic sounding. Feels like he didn't "try" when he voiced these lines. :(
