How did you calculate that? On the contrary, the IDF's civilian to combatant ratio is outstanding, even and particularly, in the Gaza war. It turned out that the Israeli army were telling the truth when they said they killed 700 hamas militants, since Hamas said so too. Israel's figures seem to be most accurate given Hamas's admission, but depending on what figures you use, on figures from palestinians you get no worse than 4:1 ratio of civilians to combatants(if I recall)
and on Israeli figures which as I said, prove to be more accurate, since Hamas later agreed that 700 militants were killed, you get something like a civilian to combatant ratio of 1 to 3 or 1 to 4. Many wars have 10:1. I don't know where you get the 100 times figure for 5 years!!

It's likely just like the laws regarding threats: A person can probably legally say that someone should murder someone else unless there is a reasonable likelihood that the person whom the speaker is talking to will follow such directions, and (maybe "or") is capable of doing so. When speaking to an audience containing members known or reasonably suspected to be willing and (or perhaps "or") capable of carrying out the murder, then it is likely criminal. That's my guess.

How did you calculate that? On the contrary, the IDF's civilian to combatant ratio is outstanding, even and particularly, in the Gaza war. It turned out that the Israeli army were telling the truth when they said they killed 700 hamas militants, since Hamas said so too. Israel's figures seem to be most accurate given Hamas's admission, but depending on what figures you use, on figures from palestinians you get no worse than 4:1 ratio of civilians to combatants(if I recall)

Israelis killed -- 13, 6 of them IDF soliders and 4 of those by "friendly fire". That is a ratio of civilians kids far more than 100 to 1. Similar numbers in Lebanon in 2006 -- although in that case there was actually someone fighting back and the IDF actually took some casualties

It's likely just like the laws regarding threats: A person can probably legally say that someone should murder someone else unless there is a reasonable likelihood that the person whom the speaker is talking to will follow such directions, and (maybe "or") is capable of doing so. When speaking to an audience containing members known or reasonably suspected to be willing and (or perhaps "or") capable of carrying out the murder, then it is likely criminal. That's my guess.
