Anyway congratulations for your work..I don't play the violin, I play the double bass but I said my opinion.

After listening to this for the 10th time my untrained ears noticed that at some of the fast parts she was goin a little too fast. If she listens to her accompanist more she would improve her performance I think :) I only wish that was my only problem XP

same here!! mind you, i managed to learn vivaldi's summer 3rd mov. purely by ear, so it could be possible without music. that said, i've learned most of the stuff i can play by ear alone, so it depends on how much you rely on the sheets.
I know that when I was eight, I was still at the open-strings stage, where the idea of playing a fourth finger was terrifying, let alone position changing!
I'm now 14 and I'm at around this level ... quite worrying, really ...

I think that if you're 40 and you play a song as well as a 9 year old would, you're both bad. Just because you're younger and you can play a song doesn't make you a great musician. If she can't play this piece well, she should be playing something easier. It's about how much you practice, not how "good" you are for your age. I know this comment will get thumbs down...

What, so Joshua Bell is allowed to move around (he does it way way more) and she isn't? It shows that she likes playing the violin. It's not an error. And she probably spent hours each day practicing this, it's not so easy to sight read.
i'm really sorry for that, but it seams to me that some more practise would have been much better. i love that song and i have played it myself when i was about 13, but especially the first part was not as good as i expected.
i thought you weren't supposed to vibrate on false harmonics (/harmonics in general)? the opening was mostly clean, but the last section was very rushed. if you start slower in the allegro and eventually work your way up to really fast in the last section, the piece will sound more interesting to the audience. the last note in the piece sounded too long for the preceding notes, but i know it is supposed to be long. the pianist was excellent- and could follow the violinist with rushing. great job

hey... this is my 3. comment to you. And it's the same thing i allways wrote. Technical it's nearly good, but here are some shortfalls, too. So much in the fast part in the middle is not right and scamped. And all in all it's a very slow, tempo. To the expression, it doesn't touch me. So this video, isn't a good advertisement for you.

She's amazing! She handles the music with such a high level of maturity, I'm really surprised especially for such a young age! I really hope I get to see the Kim sisters perform live some day. Best of luck :]

hey... this is my 3. comment to you. And it's the same thing i allways wrote. Technical it's nearly good, but here are some shortfalls, too. So much in the fast part in the middle is not right and scamped. And all in all it's a very slow, tempo. To the expression, it doesn't touch me. So this video, isn't a good advertisement for you.

I'd like to have the references of this part of music, it would be so interesting to play it ! excuse me for my bad english but i am french...I love this interpretration, I don't find words to say how I feel, it's wonderfull, and she is so young ! I play violin and I was not capable to play like her when I was his age ! It's very difficult to play, and she manages to keep a clean sound, I am amazed, congratulations !
