Cont. In order to be scientific we have to be logical. Here is the 2nd example of cognitive disonance: Miller's talk is called The Collapse of Intelligent Design. Yet on the Colbert show, shown here on YT, he says that as a Catholic he believes that Yeshua, aka Jesus, "created all that is seen & unseen." So, Yeshua is a stupid Designer? So, it's ok for him to believe He created time, space, matter & energy & this unimaginably vast universe with all its scientific laws, but goes to court...

@djtripnosys Wow after 9 months??? Here's some elementary ones. The sahara desert grows at an unchangeable rate. Its currently dated at about 4000years. Account for the 2000yrs prior to the flood & bingo 6000yrs. Try the same for the oldest living tree or organism (great barrier reef). Same results. Coincidence? The most obvious is population. Growth occurs at certain rates. Apply the rates demonstrated over the last 400 years to >1mil yrs & you'll get >100,000 people per square METRE.

@djtripnosys Here's some more. The earth's magnetic field energy has been decaying at a factor of 2.7 over the past 1,000 years. At this current decay rate, the earth could not be greater than 10,000 years old. The earth's atmosphere is not yet saturated with C14. This means that the amount of C14 being produced is greater than the amount that is decaying back to N14. It is estimated that a state of equilibrium would be reached in as little as 20,000 years.

Since the channel is now about seven miles long, this means that the age of Niagara Falls is between 6,000 and 8,750 years old (or less). At present there are over 100 short period comets in our solar system,with periods of less than 20 years. The fact that they have not all disintegrated, suggests that the solar system is less than 10,00yrs old.
