  • Premiere February 7, 2012- A prelude event to the American Documentary Film Festival, together with USC Chamber Singers and Morten Lauridsen.

  • it's muero, not muera

  • Lovely song. The video was more than a bit distracting.

  • There is also a recording of Lauridsen's music produced by Lauridsen. Search for "Voce" and "Lauridsen" on itunes or cdbaby.

  • PART 1

    LXXXIX by Pablo Neruda

When I die, I want your hands on my eyes:

I want the light and wheat of your beloved hands

to pass their freshness over me once more:

I want to feel the softness that changed my destiny.

  • transaltion on your youtube page !

  • Could anyone please tell me where I can find this recording for purchasing? I've searched iTunes and Amazon under 'Morten Lauridsen' and 'Polyphony' but haven't been able to find the album this is on. Thanks in advance for any help.

  • Try searching for "Morton Lauridsen" not "Morten" :). Amazon actually has this song in an album entitled "Morton Lauridsen: Nocturnes." Hope this helps.

  • The CD is called NOCTURNES, by Morten .. (yes with an "E") Lauridsen, the choral group is Polyphony and the CD is made by Hyperion... Amazon has it

  • what an amazing pieces. Singing this piece was probably my favorite performance ever (so far). As a tenor 2, the flowing melodies just fit perfectly into the music, and it was probably one of the most rewarding experiences of my life

  • I was a tenor 2 as well, and especially the pasar la suavidad part was just as smooth and flowing and beautiful.

  • Polyphony is one of the greatest choral ensembles. ever. i love this piece :]

  • un saludo para los face vocal de Ensenada Mexico........jeje! ke van a intentar cantar esto!! go ekipo :p

  • excelente!

  • ¡¡¡¡INTENSO!!!! Gracias por compartir. SILADLAMKADTA
