I grow from seed and make my own crosses...I also feminize and self pollinate...however nothing I'm growing is anything but NL, Skunk, & Haze... I make my own crosses and start over again from seed...it's FUN!

Yes, the video is 100% true. However, since its fairly new hype, it has become a very popular strain among pro growers. In dispensaries (or at least the ones I know) OG Kush is in the high grade section. You can definitely see a difference in quality in the bud comparing it to lets just say your lower "williams wonder" strain or something similar.
I myself prefer a nice bowl of romulan over og kush, but thats just my opinion...

I think there is a lot of truth to this. Ive been smoking dutch weed for about 15 years now and the biggest evolution was the white widow strain. Before that, weed was "greener" (think of strains like B52, orange bud, big bud, etc.). But then all of a sudden white widow came on the market and it defenitly was in a league of its own.
Since then there are a lot more "white" strains but i think most of these are derived from White Widow.

Some were stable and others had a lot of variation. The white widow was the best I tried, and produced the fattest colas.
They ALL went hermaphoradite towords the end of the bud cycle. It was only 85 degrees with a 400 watt hps and fans in a 5'x4' area.

Yes, the video is 100% true. However, since its fairly new hype, it has become a very popular strain among pro growers. In dispensaries (or at least the ones I know) OG Kush is in the high grade section. You can definitely see a difference in quality in the bud comparing it to lets just say your lower "williams wonder" strain or something similar.
I myself prefer a nice bowl of romulan over og kush, but thats just my opinion...

I think there is a lot of truth to this. Ive been smoking dutch weed for about 15 years now and the biggest evolution was the white widow strain. Before that, weed was "greener" (think of strains like B52, orange bud, big bud, etc.). But then all of a sudden white widow came on the market and it defenitly was in a league of its own.
Since then there are a lot more "white" strains but i think most of these are derived from White Widow.

The term "kush" should only be tagged to the strains that come from the "Hindu Kush" mountains along the Afghanistan/Pakistan boarder, Hindu Kush cannabis is the real Kush, and a strain should only be tagged a kush if it is crossed with the HK, like Master Kush wich is a hybrid of two HK strains.

I wanna back up one more point that was made too in this video. The term 'kush' is basically the 2004-2009 way to basically say "great weed". Actual REAL Kush strains are hard to find. Remember in the 90's if u had great weed you'd call it 'chronic'?? Well the term 'kush' is used the same way nowadays. It's turned into a slang term now. kinda true.. but there are plenty of breeds that have kush in them. referring to afghanica genetics or shit from the hindu kush mountains. i think all afghanica landrace strains and their progeny are considered kush strains which like jarvis said just means dankk as fuck. however strains with the distinct skunk and hashplant properties of the afghanica traits are truly kush. it is its own variety it doesnt just mean dank. i dont think og kush has any afghanica in it.

Fact: OG Kush has a THC content of 20%. That combined with a good high and a good taste is what makes it so desirable. Dutch seed companies bred OG Kush with G-13 to create MK Ultra, however they DID NOT create OG Kush.

Og kush came from seeds out of Chem dawg a old hybrid strain grown from by a farmer. chem dawg was crossed with mass super skunk and northern lights to make original diesel. Sour is the original crossed with another classic DNL strain. Then sour was crossed back with og (chemdawg seed) to make sour og AKA Headband, og is in all the best weeds, La confidential, Gods gift.

Kush is what it is. The reason most dispensaries carry kush is because its strong Indica, better for healing pain. The reason most idiots think it's 'the best' is because they hear about it in songs. Grow out some of my preservation Dude haze and see some real yield. Tight,dense,fragrant citrusy/hazy buds with pink/red/orange pistils.Very potent, XLNT bag appeal.

You're right. I have purchased and grown 4 or 5 varieties of theirs, because they were cheap. I bought a variety of indica and sativa genetics, and tested them.
Some were stable and others had a lot of variation. The white widow was the best I tried, and produced the fattest colas.
They ALL went hermaphoradite towords the end of the bud cycle. It was only 85 degrees with a 400 watt hps and fans in a 5'x4' area.
I saw Nirvanas grow rooms on YT. They were amateur.

The OG and Bubba Kush are both said to be related to Chemdawg, which was pulled out of a bag of road kill skunk in the 90s supposidly. Which of course was a dutch variety produced by Neville and Same the Skunkman.
