I grew up in the Flint area and witnessed its fall from grace. Corrupt leftist democrat leaders have ruined the state's southeast side (Kwame, Conyers, Stanley, Granholm, et al). The schools, etc are underfunded because, guess what, the state ran out of money? Want more revenue? Lower tax rates so businesses are actually attracted to the state... And guess what? Revenue actually increases because the businesses, families, etc, are actually present to pay taxes. Its not rocket science....

Underfunded schools? Underfunded state parks? Schools can't manage their own budgets. Ever research what a superintendent or people on the school board take home as salaries? State parks are everywhere funded by who? The people that pay millions to go to them every year. It's all profit. The government owns the land and has no expense except maintaining the parks=always extra $. The problem is a shitty job market and liberals taking more taxes to hand out free money is not progress.
