@smokefire3 it doesnt carry over, you gotta kill the yama straight up within the 50 mins they give. its fairly easy to fight. just gotta watch out for the wind tunnel. i recommend the longswords with ice or dragon element.

i don't know how many times i've watched some of your guides but i watch each one a few times and study the monsters moves before i attempt to fight and everytime i face the monster i beat them including yama which is the latest one i've slain so thank you very much for your guides they are probably the most useful and most informative guides i've seen so far so thank you very much and keep up the good work :)

@admiredfob Red Shogun is harder but there's only a few differences really... The water jet is a bitch really. Use a hbg and normal 2/3 and Pellet 2 and take huskberry and wyvern fangs to combine more pellet 2. Then just shoot. The floor jets are either straight or he twists it to the left. so just stay to his right when he looks constipated. and the roof jets are just walking and swinging it or spinning around where you just keep your distance... He takes bout 1.5 to 2 times longer to kill :) x

Is that knockout dragonsword or smoulder dragonsword? Cause if its smoulder, and you don't have a heavenly scale, you can get c. blango decimator at hr8 too, which is better and the materials are dead easy to farm.

Thanx, this video has given me a good idea of what I need to do, I think I can beat it now. Also, I have managed to survive the wind blast move, I was wearing full ceanetaur Z armour (I gemmed it to remove the negative defense effect) and I had Armour charm and Armoun Talon and I survived with a very small amount of health!

i solo'd yama but not akantor yet, yama is pretty easy, one recommendation you had on throwing tranq bombs, for noobs the safest thing to do is to sheeth the weapon and jump to the floor below.
