2 TD's? Big deal. It's a three round fight. You neglected to mention that his last TD came right at the end of round 3. So he only did it to put a stamp on the round, not to do anything significant.

If you're getting jabbed in the face by a HEAVYWEIGHT for almost the entire fight, then your flesh is going to look like torn up raw meat.

Look at what happened to Kos vs GSP. GSP broke Kos's orbital bone with repeated jabs to the face/eye. His face looked worse than Carwin's, IMO.

Carwin's gas tank and endurance was good enough to survive JDS's kill switch but he didn't capitalize on any openings to really let out his punching power. JDS on the other hand was much smarter using that stiff jab to keep Carwin at distance. Dave Herman vs. Jon Olav Einemo was definately the more exciting fight of the card.
