I got rob with my nes, and yes I was dissatisfide. Gyromite was a great game though. I would just use my toes or have a friend controlll the other pad. Rob was mia.

open the cart there is a adapter inside to allow you to play famicom games on your NES (works better on the NES-101 top loader)

pepole dont get gyromite 2 controlers are for 1 = your controler 2= rob controller and why i think he dosent jump is beacause it makes the game more puzzling

The R.O.B. was made 24 years ago, so, yeah, it's slow, but it was good for it's time. If Nintendo were to make updated R.O.B.'s, they'd probably be faster, smarter, cooler. And the reason for the sleepwalking part was for timing it.

I had this game, and I had the ROB - a friend gave it to me back in the 4th grade. I could never figure out the game, or the ROB, but I for some strange reason always enjoyed the graphics and music.

Did you know that your copy of Gyromite might not be the American NES real deal? If the title screen says "Robot Gyro" Instead of "Gyromite", then your cartridge is actually the Japanese Famicom game played through a Famicom/NES adapter built in to the NES cartridge. Just thought you'd like to know.

ROB is the only reason NES ever came to the U.S. and arguably the only reason video games continued to progress into what we see today. Video games could've easily died out if not for ROB, and for sure they would not be as far along as they are if Japan was the only market producing video games.

So it's actually deserving of a hell of a lot of respect.

By the way this review sucks you didn't even show the ROB in action.

the wierd flashing was a way to tell ROB to move I remember being a kid and my aunt gave me this game with rob it takes forever to tell rob to move left, move down, the close his grip, move up, move left, move down. and hey you finally opened a pipe thing!... oh wait... there's a red one... then you have to repeat those steps again..

I love this game. This was the NES game I grew up with. I would play this for hours upon hours.

Here's a tip: To play with one controller, press start to toggle pipe control.

This game playing with the ROB sucks so much, that it's actually more fun just cheating with two controllers when you playing this piece of crap.

The ROB is noisy, and it takes so long to spin the spinners and place them on the freaken button to move the gates.

This game pissed me off as a kid. I got it at a yard sale when I was 6 and it didn't come with a booklet, so I didn't know you needed two controllers OR a POS robot to play it.
