I support Charmaine as well as Tavia. Both of them are acting great but what Tavia said was right. You might as well use tricky plans to get wat u want but what Charmaine said was right too as if u dun use ur plans and get e love of e emperor u still win. this is a win-win solution. I prefer Tavia and Charmine roles exchange.  I think Charmine is good at doing antagonist role, coz she did well in 金枝慾孽 as 50% kindness. It's more realistic this way.

Charmine is good at acting, but often her roles in many drama diminish her skills, coz she often act as some "very young" and innocent true beauty with a heart of Angel. It's too fake.

@favutube Then the show would be backwords, and in Forensic Heroes 2, Charmaine had a relationship with Kevin Cheng just like Sam Ho and Hin-Yeung so maybe that is why Charmaine was casted to be Sam Ho instead of Kam-Ling. Charmaine hasn't done any stares like what Tavia did that's why Tavia should have been Kam-Ling.

i watched all 15 episodes last weekend and yeah... have to agree that the plot is moving a lil' too fast... but they have to fit everything into the initial 25 episodes... then i think they upped it to 30, rite?

i believe theres like 33 episode, thats pretty long, you dont want it to be like the "Gem of life" with 82 episode. but the thing is you kinda get the feeling about whats going to happen. not much surprise going on lol.

Idk i cant say. Because i only saw like the first 4 episodes with subtitles. So Tavia didnt get punish that much yet. But i think that Tavia always get punish because she is a hot temper girl. Which causes a lot of problems and since people always punish her, it pushes her to the egde and she become evil. because she wants reveage. she's sick and tired of people pushing her around.

If memory serves me right, she didn't play the role of a true villian in "War & Beauty" 'coz she wasn't that evil... Tavia's character in this series has more depth... I believe she did a great job portraying the villian in BTROC :) Charmaine is not bad either... the series is full of suspense :) Can't wait to watch more!

Ah Seh's character is too good to exist in actual ancient chinese history...in reality where there were still emperors in china, there were lots of feuds between concubines in the palace...but it's refreshing to watch this storyline than War & Beauty, although it's not as realistic to actual history ;P
