  • I shoot #2 pencils with mine from 15 feet. See video here on youtube.

  • I bought one at Walmart.. for 29$

  • Hey, what's up ? When I went on Amazon and looked this gun up, there was one that said Marlin Cowboy air rifle, and the other one said Marlin Cowboy BB gun. What's the difference ? Thank You.

  • @BouncingShady Just the description, should be the same gun.

  • Thanks for the info

  • I'm thinking of ordering this exact bb gun online but there's one thing I wanna know does this come with bb shots or do I have to buy them separate if I do, do I have to buy bullets compatible with the gun? Please respond asap thanks.

  • @MrRealEzio You will most likely have to buy BB's.

  • @switchingtomac still that gun is awesome

  • Still that's an ace gun

  • U must be an awesome dad to give that sexy weapon to ur son :)

  • @megarory123 Well he does't have it yet but soon, he turns 5 in March and that is when I plan to give it to him. He will only shoot under my supervision of course.

  • can there be a scope on it

  • @DOUGIE2254 ANything is possible but there is no easy way to do it that I know of, this BB rifle is not meant for super accurate shot placement, it is for close up shooting anyways.

  • @DavyTaygaming This is a table top review. I do have a shooting and comparison review with the Red Ryder also.

  • this is very interesting like most people say its a bad habit i dont think it is im 10 and getting my first gun as an m9 berreta 170 fps

  • @37weston There is nothing wrong with getting an airgun when you use it responsibly. As long as your parents are supporting you then age is less important then how responsible you are with it.

  • red ryder look like marlin and crosmanmore looklike the 94's

  • Is a 1984 similar to an 1894? dOH!

  • Hey do you think I can use this for post control? (small mice)

  • @MrYamamama It's really too underpowered for small pests.

  • nice video

  • @gunzguy01 Thanks!

  • omg i have the exact same bb gun

  • "you'll shoot your eye out kid"

  • @DarkNazarath Let's hope not ;)

  • @DarkNazarath thats from that film a christmas story

  • I ironically just used the red ryder airgun xD And I'm probably going to get this one instead

  • @cpdleader12345 They are both about the same, both a lot of fun!

  • I want to get one of these so bad

  • @CoolGorge95 Maybe Sanata will bring one this year?

  • @switchingtomac hehe..I dont thinks so since my parents are so stricted about guns.Anyways I subbed to you vids, keep up the good work :)

  • @switchingtomac santa beat me with a bag of rocks last year

  • @TheUnknownShit Is that what you asked for? Never know?

  • dude which country are u in? O.o do u actually need a permit to but these guns? cool vid btw

  • @Alancray126 Canada, most of the guns I ahem do not require a license or permit.

  • @switchingtomac so its not illegal there? the airsoft guns

  • @Alancray126 This one shoots 4.5mm steel BB's not 6mm Airsoft plastic BB's so it is not an Airsoft gun. It is legal here.

  • 0:34 That's What She Said

  • can you sell it to the netherlands?

  • @grdv10 I do not sell this gun.

  • @switchingtomac and other guns like normal bb blowback?

  • @grdv10 I do sell airguns on my website "w w w (dot) replicaairguns (dot) com"

  • how much fps is it?

  • I have the same one but its made by Buck

  • does anyone know where i can find really cheap bb guns

  • can you stick sights on these?

  • @RyNsWoRLD They pretty much are as is.

  • @switchingtomac cool, I was just wondering because my brother has a load of old bb gun attachments, I didn't think it'd work, thanks though :)

  • mine started to fall apart after like a week

  • @TheTyly10 What fell of of it first?

  • You are making one of the best videos on youtube!Keep up the good work.I am sure you have a lot of guns in your collection.Greetings from Serbia

  • @marecarish Thanks, the collection is growing :)

  • @SuperSnipershots In BC.

  • @vbenitez23203 No it only shoots 4.5mm steel BB's 6mm are to large.

  • Are bb guns illegal in Australia

  • @TheProductionsOfAK I am not sure of your guns and non-gun laws, best to check it out locally.

  • @switchingtomac you said it doesnt look exactly like any rifle. but henry makes a .22 lever action rifle that looks exactly like this:) tryin' to help! great vid.

  • @Psycho12345123 I own a Henry 22 lever action lol - pretty close.

  • @switchingtomac the wood is a different color :P

  • @TheProductionsOfAK yes, unless you have a gun license even then it has to be a semi-auto.

  • @TheProductionsOfAK Yea, they're illegal.

  • My gun got jammed. Can you help me?

  • @waddledee1000 Can you be more specific?

  • @switchingtomac The gun won't shoot. I pulled the lever and it shot about 10 times before it became like this. The lever will move, but it won't load the pellet or shoot.

  • @waddledee1000 Are you using pellets or BB's? This gun only takes BB's. You also need to hold the gun at a bit of an upwards angle so gravity will load teh BB's in while you cock it.

  • @switchingtomac I'm using BB's. But the actual lever won't work. I mean, when you load it, it's all hard. But the lever now is all soft.

  • @waddledee1000 Sounds broken to me? Maybe take it back to where you got it from?

  • this gun is crap, right out of the box 2 screws were so loose thay fell out, then i put them back in and they would not tighten, this exact same thing happened with my friends marlin cowboy's to.

  • @braydenpresber I did not have this problem or I would of mentioned it. I would take yours back and get a new one or maybe the Red Ryder if you're not happy with the Marlin Cowboy.

  • idea you should make an asay quiz for kids (such as me) for like the rifles (bb)

  • @ryanclifton1 That sounds like school, been while ;)

  • @switchingtomac is this gun made well and is it acurate? Because my friend said that there made from the chinese and that there terrible guns. Please answer back.

  • @gameral83 Keep in mind you pay about $40 of this gun so don't expect it to be a hand crafted work of art. I found the Red Ryder to be more accurate but I think part of it is doe to the Crosman needed in more break in period. I thought it was actually pretty well made for the price and would expect lots of fun times shooting with it.

  • @switchingtomac How do I unjam this gun? It got jammed after like 10 shots right outta the box.

  • can it shoot pellets???

  • @glvelasquez No, just 4.5mm BB's.

  • I think you meant the 1894, not 1984.. :)

  • @GearDoneRight It's not what I say, it's what I mean ;)

  • I would kill to have this in an adult size, sooooo much fun.

  • @harriet807 It's fun even in the small version :)

  • hey man how does the trigger work pls reply

  • @simonmartin1234 Like every other trigger, you squeeze it, not sure what you mean?

  • @switchingtomac thanks but i mean how does it keep the air in i made an air gun but with a bottle and a valve and i cant get one of these where i live im stuck with slingshot and compound bows

  • @simonmartin1234 I don't make the guns, I just shoot them and sell them so I would not be able to tell you how to make an airgun?

  • You give someone this if they can't a real gun?

  • @ITZMillerTime30 Or just because it's fun to shoot in your backyard...

  • and are they copper bullets

  • @switchingtomac is there anywhere i can ammo for this?

  • @thevint1000 Copper bullets and, there must be a place in the UK to buy 4.5mm steel BB's. I live in Canada so you will have to find them on your own.

  • @switchingtomac ok thanks

  • @switchingtomac Dude this gun i great I have both the red ryder and Marlin Cowboy and i love them both and i sold the daisy. (Im a fan of rifles)

  • @donmacchiarolo How is it now after shooting it lots?

  • @switchingtomac is there anywhere to get this on a uk website?

  • @thevint1000 I don't follow too much outside of North America?

  • how much power does this gun hold

  • @fpsbbgun It shoots about 325 fps

  • is the marlin cowboy more reliable than the red ryder, i had 2 red ryder for less than 24 hours and got les than 20 though the first and 3 in the 2nd. the guns would not shoot and the cocking levers would give no tension.

  • @callofdutyguy9 Both my guns seem equally reliable, not sure why you had the problem with the Red Ryder, they are generally good BB rifles.

  • First gun I ever shot was a .45-70, and I was 15. That was one hell of a summer.

As far as shooting goes, it's best to just get a rifle/pistol that shoots .22 LR & shorts for a first time shooter - Unless the person shooting's a numb-nuts. A BB gun is mostly for novelty, but who doesn't like shooting one every now and then?

  • @xIJAx Not too often, Pellets are heavier and need more force behind them.

  • It'd be AMAZING if they madde a lever action air rifle with like 500 fps. Just enough FPS for everyday fun. :3

  • @ZakkSparxx Umarex makes a pellet shooting lever action rifle that uses an 88 gram CO2 tanks and shoots just over 500 fps.

  • what kind of bird hunter would you recommend

  • @silenceikeelyou90 A decent break barrel rifle is always a good choice!

  • @silenceikeelyou90 i would recommend a ruger or a crosman i would recommend the phantom crosman 1000x for squirrel bird and rabits

  • I got another question. Is it safe to kill birds with it? Do they die quickly?

  • @Lackoification Not a good bird hunter! Just not enough power.

  • @Lackoification i shot my friends bb gun and i shot a bird from about 20 feet and i had to shoot it about 3 more times to kill it

  • Hello! I'm thinking of buying this gun. But I got a question, can you put a scope on it?

  • @Lackoification Not easily!

  • i was looking at the marlin vs ryder and which do you recomend? im getting a new one in a week or two (right now i have a ak47) and i wont a rifle thats cheap.

  • @1NowThatsRap1 The Red Ryder and Marlin are not high end rifles, they are entry level rifles. I would go with the Daisy for now as it's been around for a long time and has a good track record.

  • Hey, I want to buy a bb rifle to start out, but I want something really accurate for target shooting (obviously not shooting people like plastic airsoft). The question is, what's the most accurate rifle I can get for under 200 dollars? Maybe up to 300. How does red ryder compare to this (and I've heard of that make in many places). Also, what bb's are best for accuracy? Copper? Steel? What size and weight is best?

  • @mostliberal You should look at a good quality break barrel rifle, $200 should get you something pretty nice that shoots pellets at a decent FPS. I am not an expert on break barrel rifles but there are many to choose from so do a bit of research on them before you pick one.

  • @switchingtomac From what I could find, it looks like the Daisy Avanti Champion 499 is the most accurate bb gun, and it's cheaper than $150 too. Would that be good?

  • @mostliberal In general, BB guns are less accurate then pellet guns, did you want a BB gun for sure?

  • @switchingtomac Well, on one hand I want something that won't go through the tall fence separating my house from my neighbors, but I don't want ricochets either, since there's windows near the fences and glass beer bottles on my backyard tables. I want something that can be accurate 30-60 feet away, but from what I've seen with pellet guns, they're 4 or 5 times as expensive as bb guns (or at least some of them are). A real gun would be too dangerous and expensive.

  • @mostliberal Break barrel pellet guns start out around $100 and can up a lot from there are more accurate and more powerful then BB guns.

  • @switchingtomac What are the main differences between break barrel and fixed barrel pellet guns?

  • @switchingtomac I am talking about a break barrel spring piston pellet gun and to cock them you "break" or bend the barrel at the hinge which is right were the barrel starts.

  • this gun sucks in my opinion i ordered 2 of them and on the first 1 the lever didnt work and on the second 1 the trigger didnt work..il try daisy next or the pump master

  • @JUKEBOXX1990 First one worked good for me :) Daisy is a good choice too.

  • 1:45 that was so sweet :)

  • im looking to buy this but i hear tht it doesn't like to fire bbs consistently.your thoughs please switch??also it be nice if you could do a full review on the daisy red ryder

  • @JUKEBOXX1990 Sometimes guns need a bit of work in time but the Red Ryder does seem to load a bit more consistently. May have been the way I was holding it while reloading too?

  • @switchingtomac so would you say the red ryder is more consistent at shooting bbs

  • @JUKEBOXX1990 Without breaking them in both and really testing them the Red Ryder seemed to be more consistent for me.

  • @switchingtomac really so why did you keep the cowboy for personal use instead of the red ryder

  • @JUKEBOXX1990 I've got them both, when my son is old enough for one he can take his pick, he is only 4 right now and a bit young ;)

  • @switchingtomac last question..is the lever plastic or metal on both guns just to make sure since i hear the ryder is plastic

  • @JUKEBOXX1990 The Marlin comes in Metal and my newer Red Ryder now has a metal lever, I think Daisy changed it because of the Marline Cowboy.

  • @switchingtomac thnaks.as always ur reviews help out a lot

  • @switchingtomac how hard is it to load you know bringing down the lever ?

  • @iwebbyDK The Marlin lever is harder to cock then the Red Ryder but most adults should have no problems with it.

  • @switchingtomac you know where i can get the red ryder ? with these small metal bullet ?

  • @iwebbyDK In Denmark I have no idea? I live in Canada.

  • Is this worth $115?

  • @98MrTurtle Not if you buy it in North America, it's all relative to what people are willing to pay in your area.

  • Dear santa....

  • @switchingtomac idk around 6 months ago. I got my air rifle from poco military cause i decided to start out with a pellet gun instead of a bb gun

  • hey does anyone know what to do when this thing gets jammed? im not sure how its jammed or if it really is, but the trigger wont pull... i put in elite gun oil in it, and after 3 hrs it got jammed. please help me. the gun is cocked at the time, i need to un-jam it so it wont loose any power. please respond asap.THANKS.

  • @SoloDholSocietyOFC Not sure? Is the safety on?

  • @switchingtomac no, the safty is off.. i put wd-40 on it, and the trigger is loose now. however, the gun is still cocked, and still wont shoot.

  • do you think the spring is messed up?

  • @SoloDholSocietyOFC It is possible, hard to trouble shoot a problem when I don't have the gun in my hands? You might need to take it in for repair?

  • @switchingtomac alright, im going to do that, but do u know any pellet guns around 50$ withgood power? thanks

  • @SoloDholSocietyOFC Check out the Crosman 1377 multi-pump .177 caliber pellet pistol. It shoots at right up to 500fps and I sell it for $59 at my Replica Airguns Store. Not sure what you are looking for...

  • @switchingtomac thanks man, you really helped... and thats a nice gun.. ill look into it.

  • @switchingtomac dude i live in cloverdale! princess auto has them now too its pretty sick

  • @classicrockguy29 Nice, when did they start selling guns?

  • awesome sweds haha jag äger

  • @TOZZYTHEVERY1 hahah teknikmagasinet?

  • Were do u live

  • @Zachbray95 I love in Langley BC Canada.

  • @switchingtomac port moody

  • @TOZZYTHEVERY1 Wow!

  • My neighbor shot me with one of these bb guns in the chest hurt like a mother@$#^@$#^

  • @tank12344 I can imagine!

  • its kinda funny i liked the red ryder so i bought it then. i then realized that the crosman bb gun my aunt bought me beat the red ryders fps by double lol hows this rifle it looks really decent

  • @zukazamammee I don;t won the Red Ryder so it is hard for me compare but on its own I think it is a great little starter gun for just about anyone. Love the lever action

  • @switchingtomac so is this ones lever hard to cock or is it fairly easy?

  • @zukazamammee It takes a bit of work, not hard for adults but a bit of work for younger folks and for really young kids they will probably require help which I think is a good thing.

  • This is such a copy of the red rider

  • I kind of like the connection to Annie Oakley over the Red Ryder's fictional hero.

The wood seems to have a nicer grain and finish than the Red Ryders I've seen all over YouTube. Unfortunately, some of the metal parts will probably turn to plastic eventually, as has happened with the 760. I may have to get one of these from this first run.

  • @CanItAlready I hope they don't change the metal parts to plastic!

  • @CanItAlready i recently aquired the red ryder, the new 70th anniversery edition- the grain is nice and it is a handsome looking bb gun for 30 bucks, i have the 760 aswell and have had some issues with it even though i have only had it for a week. I do want this marlin though, just cant find it yet- the metal lever is nice, and the blonde wood is nice aswell

  • @mikethenascarfan It's on amazon

  • @DarthOptimus207 i know- unfourtunatley i cant have it shipped to my adress
