Korchnoi siempre tiene algo que decir sobre ese match, ya pasaron mas de 30 años y sigue. Creo que al final el se dejo influenciar por el Dr. Zukhar. Cuando le preguntaron que lo diferenciaba al de los campeones mundiales, dijo "ellos tenian/tienen una concentracion superior a la mia" , creo que por alli esta la clave...

Como dato curioso Korchnoi, siempre tuvo en su carrera expresiones y/o gestos fuera de lugar, si no recuerden lo que dijo del jugador mexicano que le gano, etc etc .

Victor Korchnoi belongs to the the best chess players of all time. There is no doubt about it. His match against Karpov in 1978 Baguio was not quite fair-play match. Karpov had the secundants like Tal and Geller!! Tal apologiezed to Korchnoi (his very good friend) before his death for Baguio. He said to Korchnoi that he fought not against Karpov himself but against three grandmasters!!! Karpov, Tal and Geller!! And we all know that Tal and Korchnoi had always sense for fair-play games!!
