Anybody want to tell the people out there how exactly to get past the spike pits?

There is no Symbiote suit. This is Spiderman- before even the second movie was out, let alone third. i seriously doubt symbiote is in this.

hey it took a long time for me too but heres how you get it. when your in the castle you go through the level until you see a pit with the huge spikes then swing to the right and once you get to the wall swing left and stay kinda low so you can see the pit leading down.then swing right so you dont die then swing left again. when you get to the sawblades and the spikes on the ceiling take a low jump. then at the wall theres two paths.go left keep dodgeing the spikes and sawstill you see the icon
