It never ceases to amaze me how people who have a bone to pick with the world, ALWAYS start with religion first. If all religion could be abolished,it is a sure thing that something else would be found to take it's place as the problem maker of humanity. As for the Catholic Church and the issue with abuse, there is nothing to say or can be done that can make it right. Justice is not always for this world. The people being interviewed aren't poor.I live in one of the most Catholic states in the US and I don't know any poverty stricken Catholic families.Catholic culture promotes careful preparation for marriage.Most Catholics require their children to finish college and wait until they have a good job before getting married.The majority of practicing Catholics I've met married around age 30 and are very well off financially despite the fact that they have 4-8 kids.Your stereotypes are 50+ years old

Sounds like a cult. I grew up christian, but then i learned too much and realized most organized religion is crap. Children are great, sure, a couple would be fun - but having a huge family is unnecessary and just puts a major burden on the parents that they didnt really need in this day and age.

Hehe, if you think god is in a church, i got some serious doubts...especially after reading the nag hammadi library/gnostic scriptures.
