@iamkarenhill That's pretty insightful. We don't have any dancers at our church though. We used to many years ago but not now. We were discussing praise dance and he made a funny joke. I pulled out my camera and asked him to tell the joke again. This is how this video was made. It was just a humorous moment. No harm done.

This was not mean spirited at all. As a praise dancer I was not even close to offended.

Was this supposed to be funny? Cause I tell you if those were the only moves that praise dancers do, you sure don't do them too well yourself. Praise dance is not a game it is a ministry. And sure there are some who are not called to dance. But there are many that are and I think they would find your video to be a little offensive. I don't use those moves but I was offended because I really thought you were fixing to give me 5 good new moves.

you say you've been to church and all, so you probably heard God's word before. Even if it's "intended" as a "joke", i'd be very careful when mocking what people to for God. You may not know this, but God is very zealous of His annoited (that includes the dancers) , so i hope your eyes have opened by now and you understand, what may be funny to you, may not be to God.

When you praise dance, you have to be very serious for God. I'm a praise dancer myself, so I know what you're going through. If you decide to be a praise dancer, put God first!

this is what the world sees when people say that God called them to dance, and they don't know what they are doing. yes,God uses foolish things to confound the wise, but He does not anoint FOOLISHNESS, or being unprepared. there is no excuse for sloppy, messy dancing. dancers, study your ministry and present your best, and this type of video will not be funny anymore!

@29psalm I completely agree with you. Prayer, fasting, and preparation is the key for every dance ministry, If the anointing is present, there would have been nothing to make fun of. He would have been discussing how much awe he was in.

i hope ur wasnt tryna b funny, u werent sucessfull. with me being a dancer this whus very insulting becuase when i coreograph my dances for me or for my dance group [visions of Worship] we donot use any of those. Im not a pro im 15 and never taken any classes but my dances dont have any of the moves. so try the churches in cali ive NEVER IN MY LIFE seen that, when i upload a video ill bsure to let u kno!
