I Just did the update with version 5.50GEN, and i didn't need the update files from their websites, you can use Network Update on your PSP :P

the reason for that is because you need to purchase Pandora Battery and a Magic memory stick. If those were the results If you had already purchased this then you had downloaded the Pandora incorrectly.

no.. cause you need pandora to install the custom firmware.. and with custom firmware you can play games and so on.. soo..Maybe its easier to find a custom firmwasre installer in your area..

I have custom fimware 3.90 m33-3 and i dont see the point to make it any higer right now, there really arent andy homebrews for any of the higher firmwares then 3.30 m33, unless you want to run official things on your slim like gps, video chat, or skype

if you do not have custom firmware the only way to first install it is with a pandora battery (i think) create a pandora along with a magic memory stick and it will hack your PSP directly and install 3.71 custom then u can just update to the latest custom...
