I was in the 5th grade when he died, and I can still remember when my mom told me! I balled my eyes out!!! Racing for sure is not the same and you will always be my number 1 driver!! There will never be anyone like you!! RIP!
@Blackpantheru I love to hunt black panthers, kill as many as I can find. The more the merrier. Over 10,000 rounds of ammo here, should eliminate all panthers, don't ya think. Hope to see some soon! Turn 'em into maggot food!
i was only 14 when he passed bu his deah took a oll on my family we have all always been big earnhard fans its a shame o see such a good person pass he was an awsome driver and an even better person
@mooyah36 well first I think that you need too learn how to spell, and second you need to figure out all your thoughts before you plcae them here so everyone can see just how much of a asshole you really are !
man, i was in 5th grade that year... i remember watching the race with my dad, he hasn't watch a race since then. Dale Sr is still my favorite driver, then his son Dale Jr.... and every race day i wish someone to put jeff gordon into the wall!!!
If you look at the videos closely and obsessively (like I have), you might see that Rusty came up and got Dale aero-loose. The in-car cam shows Dale getting wobbly before he lost it. It also shows him going down the track a bit and then contacting with Sterling. (Watch Jr's car ahead of him.) If you watch only Sterling's car (especially the left-front), it looks like his front end gets nudged a bit to the left by Dale's car.
He played the game he loved, and he wouldn't have it any other way.
@smokedubby1272 same here man except i was 3 wen i became his fan he inspard me to race first it was foot raceing now its go-kart raceing and in the future it nascar raceing r.i.p earnhart
Dale is a true NASCAR LEGEND. That was pretty sad that he died but he's still alive in his spiritural body and probably still walks at the NASCAR track even if we can't see him nor hear him! He'll be with us 4 EVER! 3 4 EVER!
Dale died doing something he doesnt do blocking for someone else if he were trying to win the side of his car wouldve hit the wall and he'd be beating the shit outta Busch!! RIP #3
it wasnt kens fault. if you look closely which i have been for 5 years it was wallace who tried to go three wide without enough room sending sterling marlin into shrader who spun down into dale
I will never forget the first time walking into the infield at Daytona. I saw the spot where Dale Sr hit the wall. I just stood there for 5 minutes. Now everytime I walk into the infield around turn 4, I say a little prayer. We lost a legend. Just about everyone I know says that since 2001 NASCAR has not been the same
when u think about it it was probably the most fantastic way he could die, doing what he loved. And alos what did they do with his car from that race?
I was 9 when he died and i remember turning on the TV and the news saying Dale had Died In A Daytona 500 Race that was a hard time for all NASCAR Fans to hear that.
2 people are fucking haters

Thanks for making this. It's been ten years now and it still hurts.
I can still hear DR. Jerry Punch say:
The Intimidator is scraped and beaten on the right side, but he will not be denied.... some 11 years ago.
