this game only has a few fatal flaws .1 when you aim at your target the sights\scope doesn't follow manually.2 almost all aspects of the game are unrealistic.3driving deer is for pussys.4 hes not fucking super man you can't see vitals.5your foot steps sound like big foots even while sneaking.6cabelas hunting games do most to all the work for you deer are staged in a few games. what happened to all the good old hunting games like deer hunter.even tho they gave an arrow they were still hard kills

first of all..i can gaurantee you dont know all about hunting..i didnt say shooting it in the head was a better shot or even a good one ...i just said its a quicker one...in the lungs is all it takes but you will do a bit of tracking..it could run 40 yards or 150..in the head or spine they go down quick....btw..theres no way you got two chances to shoot it in the head..

I'm a newfoundlander and I know all there is about hunting, I was moose hunting once and he was face on to us we had to shoot him in the head, it took 2 headshots to drop em, the year after it was side on one shot in the lungs is all it took so your info is wrong

Hey buckeye, obviously your a 12 year old kid who follows his dad around and pretends to know what he is talking about. True that a deer won't go down right away with anything but a spine shot, but its more than likely going to hit the ground in the heart or lung than with a headshot, unless you go massive overkill. Plus it ruins the trophy and shows alot of disrespect towards the animal. You got to remember there bud that real life is NOT like a video game ;) Know your shit.

Well if you shoot the deer in the head it ruins the trophy,that is,if you want a trophy. Plus if you shoot him in the head he keeps going,but if you should him in the heart or lung he'll usually drop. I know shootin him in the head seems simple but it doesn't work. Hope this answer helps.

dude if you shoot something in the the head it will likely blow up the head but If i was going for a doe and was up close I'd go for the head. It will usually either "stone" them or make them do something crazy like jump 10 feet in the air. but if you hit the brain the animal will not escape. many animals have been shot in the chest and lived.

Its not a dumb question nor dumb answer as long as you ask insted of talking bullshit (like some of the guy around here) if you hunt for trophie (keeping the head as a trophy and eat the rest) then lung shot is better but it might run 10 yards or so depending on what caliber rifle you have but if your gana eat the whole thing just shoot the head (if your in range) hope that helps.

@fasztuggya I'm a real life hunter and shooting a deer in the head is a very fast and humane way to put them down. Most shotgun hunters that I know shoot for the head. You only go for the lung shot if you are trophy hunting. Also, I can tell your not a hunter, or at least not a skilled, experienced hunter, considering you called the deer a HER. It has antlers! Only the MALES have antlers idiot! Make sure when you call someone an idiot, you know what the fuck your talking about yourself.
