This is how the piece is supposed to sound. But I feel this is not a song of despair or tragedy but one of hope. A hope that comes when all else seems bleak and dreary. I love this song and I don't know if that is how it's supposed to be interpreted and I don't know if I'm alone in this interpretation but I feel like it's definitely not a song of sorrow.

Was this performed by Yiruma? The piano has a different tone and the song is played in a different key, I think. The style also does not seem very Yiruma-esque.

A friend introduced me, and I immediately wanted to play it, as it reminded me of Ludovico Einaudi's music, and Einaudi is my favourite pianist/composer, and I can play some of his music too! If you like Yiruma, and this piece in particular , I would strongly suggest you listen to Einaudi and a guy called Yann Tierson. All of these composers/performers are very similar, so literally, if you liked this, you'll DEFINATELY like Einaudi and Tierson. cu

no, they are completely different. this song has just piano (aswell as being a different tune) and bella's lullaby having an orchestra at the beggining.

This is a beautiful song and although it could make a beautiful lullaby, Bella's lullaby needs to sound soothing when hummed by a man, I think it needs to be a bit more mellow almost. There are different rumors as to whether the song played in twilight will be used as herf lullaby in the second film or not but we'll see I guess..
