Stone cold classic. The True Techno EP is one of my favourite records ever. Love it so much that I can't put it into words. Absolutely beautiful. Utter Perfection.
Like it says in the title, Detroit Classic!!..I just moved back to Barbados from T.O n I'm about to drop my first Detroit set on these mofo's..I ain't got this one to play but I hope these fools ready for what I do got..=)..much love n respect goes out to all the people who started this thing off and now it's up to us to keep it going..spread the music and the love people and if ya got some skills maybe make a lil something that ain't all min-tech like everyone else..haha..peace
@martinbonds lol actually come to thing of it my olderbro has got a copy of this baby gathering dust in a lock-up somewhere, heh, gotta get his key / passcode :) he's got MY 1210's / mixer in there 'n all, nice amp/preamp, couple of decent monitor speakers oohh yehhh.
No specific track in particular, and of course New Order never made anything that sounded like this, but the mood ( especially the Peter Hook-ish bass tones) is reminiscent , to me at least, of things like Murder, stuff off the "salvation" movie soundtrack, and a few other odd bits. :)
And Martin did mention to me after I posted this that New Order are one of his favourite bands , so I'm sure they were a big influence.
Please keep me posted on it's release martin be it wax or digital, much respect! for making the music that inspired me to enter the world of electronic music myself
never heard this either.love it.reminds me of the 1st years of going to parties in detroit .I saw shake Rob Hood and Juan atkins at the 1st family party in 96 or 97
Is this Martin Bonds from HFH? If so this is Malcolm N. I remember you being deep into the movement when it all began. There's nothing like true Detroit techno. Like Moodymann said, "I support N.... from the D" Keep bangin the box. Holla back.
NO MAMES COMO COMPARAS A NEW ORDER CON JUAN ATKINS

resla, first, thank you for the upload, appreciated.
Secondly, in your description you mention 'some of New Order's more obscure tracks'. What tracks are you refering to, I'm curious... :)
