  • wow I learnt more from two minutes of video in english than pouring over my textebooks which are in spanish for 3 hours....thank you!!!

  • merci ! Simple et clair...J'ai visionné plusieurs vidéos avant de trouver celle-ci qui m'a aidée à comprendre très vite. Géniale. Thank you, you made it easy to understand, simple and clear.

    Best vidéo !

  • i don't speak english u__U

  • hot

  • @Metalstorm10 How is it hot?

  • and meiosis happens either on the ovaries or testes. so i don't get where the other parent's dna came from. please enlighten me

  • @useurcamera the reaction happens in the ovaries or egg and the two halfs of dna come from the mom (egg) and the dad (sperm, from testes)

  • wait im confused. so meiosis uses germ cells(cells from reproductive organs) right? and that's just from one person. on the male, it produces 4 sperm cells? and on the female it produces 3 polar bodies and 1 egg. so is the crossing over really meiosis or is it fertilization???

  • I have a question? How many chromosomes do the last 4 cells have? And also, those two chromosomes they showed.. there are not only two, right? They only show two chromosomes to make it simple?

  • @cupcakesandmangoes The half than the original ones, The number depends of the specie.

  • after three years of not getting this at school and trying to figure it out, I've watched six vids here and none was helpful. Then, I found this video :D

= problem solved :D thankyou so much!!! :'D

  • and the puzzle comes together.

  • THANK YOU!

  • even if you get 4 gametes for female, only one will become the egg, the other three are simply just polar bodies

  • Can some one help me out please,

    1. wth the germ cell precursor, and why does it have both maternal and paternal chromosomes?

    2. why does meiosis of this germ cell, which from the video result in 4 gametes, have variations? gametes are sperms and eggs right? how can our sex cells have variations when they divide?

  • Ok, I think, I THINK, you missed the independent assortment and segregation law.

  • what confuses me is that :

why four gamets only ? could there be more ?

so its like 4 sperms, or 4 egg cells ?

i would really appreciate the information

    thank you

  • @arta91 there are more. this video only shows the process. 0:16 more than 4 sperms, but I think there is only 1 egg per cycle-not sure though, i've forgotten

  • thank..u... ma'am u did a good job..!

  • 1:56 - 2:02 sound like a song :L

  • OMG am I the only one who's not getting it!?
