Jehude: The belief that the antichrist is some supernatural geopolitical persona as depicted in the "Left behind" series is not as my understanding goes, Biblical. This is what I believe David Asscherick were talking about. However, the Papal system is identified as the antichrist, and these two events are not related. It is worth mentioning that Daniel 12, speaks of something interesting in relation to this, and I will not be surprised that the devil himself will come, pretending to be Jesus.

Just think of the last several popes, they have been the most powerful & recognized men on the planet. And gaining in power.
