I love showmanship! I was #1 in Texas in the Texas Club Pig association once year and top ten for 4. I miss it so much and I graduated 3 years ago. I'm hoping i'll be able to judge showmanship someday. We had to to put our pigs in the scale in the middle of the ring, switch hogs, do formations, hold our pigs in the corner, put our pigs in the holding ring, all sorts of crazy things.
Wow, showing is so different here in california than there. We are not allowed to touch our pigs, and you are marked down if you reach over with your whip or pipe

omg, why are they all keeping their hands on them ?
haha you don't do that ! sometimes if your pig is rutting or something you sneek a hand in, but never let the judge see !
