  • You know what I liked about this movie? It understood you can't kill demons with guns or swords, no matter how bitchin' that is...

(P.S. I love things where demons get killed that way, just saying this was refreshing.)

  • I ALWAYS WONDERED HOW WILL SHE EXPLAIN ALL OF THAT TO THE POLICE??

  • @SublimeShooterGamer can u upload the whole movie? in 1080p thnx bro GOD RULES

  • @estring123: Hello :-) and thank you, God is great :-). Unfortunately I can not upload the whole movie. I would almost certainly be banned from YT if I did so. This scene is the most powerful in the entire film and I just wanted to extend me thoughts on it with people. And if I can bring it to them in 1080p then I guess it's thumbs up all around lol. Peace be with you always.

  • SATAN RULES

  • @AP93Playa

    SATAN SUCKS

  • arnold is so bad ass he can beat the devil !

  • lol is that a MP5 with a noob-tube attached to it ? XD

  • @lPrintulNoptii: If by 'noob-tube' you mean M203 Grenade Launcher, then yes. The sub-machine gun Jericho is using is an HK MP5. Please refrain from making game-related comments. This video is about the actions of faith. Please remain mindful of that if you ever post another comment.

  • @SublimeShooterGamer if you dont want game related why comments why are you callefd sublimeshootergamer ?? secondly this is not a video about the actions of faith its an arnold action movie .

  • @16cliffedge: The name I've chosen has nothing to do with what this video is about....the fact that you missed that is beyond me.... Also, this is a video that I put up - read the information before you first comment and you will see my point. How you've missed that I'll never know. So again, if you can't keep it in context then please comment no further.

  • @16cliffedge: Also, with reference to my name, are you going to put up videos about something and then have my comment on your name asking you why you called yourselr 16cliffedge? Please engage your brain before your comment on other peoples videos. Thank you.

  • @SublimeShooterGamer listen my very small brained fellow human being, and listen closely - the guy asked you " is that a mp5" - you reply saying "Please refrain from video game comments " - so i simply ask - because your youtube name is sublimeshootermoron - whats the big deal if someone asks such a question ? it seems incredibly self important is the only reason i asked - please refrain - what a load of shit how about you gain a few brain cells i went to cambridge shitface

  • @16cliffedge: You went to Cambridge yet you can't extend basic human decancy to someone you know nothing about or have never met. How very 'elevated' and grown-up you have become. You're now banned from all of my videos because you can not keep your attitude in check. Your arrogance has brought it to this. I feel sorry for you because you've made a fool of yourself in public. Oh and by the way, there is no 'big deal' and I'm English and not a citizen of the United States of America.

  • @SublimeShooterGamer I ASSUME YOU ARE SOME BIBLE BELT MENTAL CASE BTW WITH A BRAIN VERY SIMILAR IN SIZE TO A PEANUT

  • Interesting ideas.. Well collated! For a Kabbalistic interpretation of these times, see my feature short.

  • the most powerfull weapon in the universe "the faith"

  • Jericho acted pretty calm when Satan showed up in his true form. I probably would have had a heart attack!!

  • @TonyGonzo1988 "It takes a man of pure heart to destroy pure evil" -Father Michael

  • @TonyGonzo1988 Hehehe...it's Satan,no big deal!

  • religion makes good fiction movies

  • @SublimeShooterGamer Why whenever I pray to god for something he never shows me a sign and never answers

  • @4everRammstien: You'll have to explain further and I will be more than willing to help you understand if I can. Message me if you don't want to put it out in the public. I'll pray for you.

  • "holly" wood or "witch's" wood sells these mocking "savior" other than Jesus Christ movies like hotcakes...Arnold has starred in two such films where the main character was this "savior" of mankind...end of days and terminator...you have two main characters "John Connor" and "Jericho Cain"...both "saviors" initials being J.C...hence "Jesus Christ"...predictable illuminati bullshit...and what a surpirse when the last terminator film with "Christian" Bale came out it was called "salvation"

  • @islapilluminati: Well observed!

  • anyone with false intentions, promises or lies. Never would I do that. Christ wants you to be apart of Him. Just believe and ask to understand. If you truely mean in all your heart, mind and spirit that you wish to believe and understand then you WILL recieve the Holy Spirit - this I PROMISE YOU. You will be guided. It may not seem like it at first but events WILL happen in your life that draw you closer to God, even though it may not seem so at first. God bless you all. Jesus saves :-)

  • I really liked Jericho's character in this film. Bitter, angry, depressed, full of guilt. Very far removed from his normal hero movie persona. I also give Arnie props for his acting in this one-srsly his character just seemed more genuine than any of his other larger than life ones.

  • @loserguy1022: I concur!

  • still hardships in my life but I understand more. Certain events have led up to some of them but I understand why and how far away I had taken myself from God. I strayed but I found my way back and I have never felt a power, warmth of belonging like it in all my life. I see the world with new eyes, the way Christ wishes me to be. I still make mistakes and fall short but I continue to strive and try harder. If you've read all of this: Believe :-) . Believe and you will see. I would never decieve

  • because that would not be very just or fair on my part, it would be wrong. Some people may say that it's just coincidence, randomness or something that led to these events happening. But how could something so precise hit home to me in such a specific way. I saw the light and it took away all my fears, all the pain, all the anxiety and I have never felt so overwhelmed, yet so fulfilled in all my life. Christ saved me when I was at my most desperate and I have never felt better since. There are

  • I have asked for guidance and I have been shown and made to understand, sometimes in the most hard-hitting way, but what ever I prayed for, it happened for me and sometimes God made me learn the hard way or got His point across when I was left out in the cold and on my own. Only then could I truely reflect and only then did God's will hammer home to me the importance of faith and belief. But God is good, I could never compare unfortunate events in my life to others who have suffered so badly

  • Just for anyone reading the comments who doubts, faith is a deeply personal experince, afterall we are not judged by God as an entire race, if so we would be seriously screwed. We are judged as individuals and held accountable for all our actions when we die. Personally...and I tell the truth when I say this, regardless whether you believe me or not - I have asked and I have recieved. I have asked for protection (both to Jesus and Saint Michael) and I have been shielded.

  • Indeed, metaphorically, Jericho in the film had almost condemned himself to Satan and this is displayed quite openly in the film - his disagreement with God when he thought his family should live, the way his life went afterwards - heavy drinking etc. but he hadn't completely turned, which is why in the film, Satan couldn't use him as a slave. Being lost is so close to being found, thats the important message to take away. Never give up on God, he won't forsake you, ever. God bless.

  • @SublimeShooterGamer Vey well put...also to note those in darkness are the devils prey but with your last breath one can repent...and do so.

hmmm why no mention of a Savior...?

  • @kenbear2725: Didn't he look upon Jesus Christ before Satan invaded the church. Self-sacrifice. Christ defeated Satan for us on the Cross by sacrificing his life. Jerchio in the film did the same, but used the sword of the statue of Saint Michael the Archangel to do so. Christ's message is in this scene. Do more for others than you do for yourself and do so humbly. God bless.

  • @SublimeShooterGamer Yeah i had to watch it again... I was speaking of the direct scene when he throw himself onto the sword...but alas it is just a movie... What do you think of the movie,..." They Live"? seems like it is fitting for today's crisis ( chem trails, Haarp, food poisoning, even the Pope and others recently had a meeting to discuss the possibility of Aliens... go figure lol...check out some of my videos on my site...

  • @kenbear2725: Yeah I'll have a look at stuff that lol. The movie itself is ok, but then again I don't mind arnie movies lol, I don't mind a bit of dull-script and mindless gun shooting lol (in films that is), afterall - it's arnie lol. More importantly though, no matter what people say to me, even it were the Pope himself, if I really thought it disagreed with the Bible in anyway, I wouldn't do it. Yeah I've heard that aliens are just demonic spirits and stuff

  • @kenbear2725: but thats pure speculation, like a lot of things but if the Pope is having meetings about it, like you say, it could be true or could not be, I certainly don't know at all and it doesn't bother me either way.

  • This idea of Jericho sacrificing himself, was an idea that Arnold came up with and the producer Armyan Bernstein at Beacon Pictures. I think, in a way, it was a better choice.

  • @yahoo9317 What was the original end then?

  • @Dtavs He lived, that was the original intent. But as people pointed out, in the order to defeat the Devil and send him back to the depths, you'd have to sacrifice yourself.

  • I rather like this film - for reasons being that its a stark contrast to Arnold's earlier movies wherein he played an action hero, or an unstoppable cyborg - and in this, he is simply an ordinary man. Jerico Cane has no superpowers, and no exceptional qualities, but he still manages to defeat Satan and stop his plans to destroy Humanity, by a heroic sacrifice.

That, and the fact that he earlier shoots the devil with a grenade launcher and into a moving subway train also helped.

    :P.

  • @NicholasGeschke and plus, when he gets into the church, he starts to realize guns don't work, because it's a house of faith. He has to renew his faith, in order to defeat the Devil, Jericho has to put his faith in God.
