  • you played that well,i could tell you were playing it not because you were loud but your guitar didn't sound as nice as it does on the track but well played phil but then if it had of done, i'd have a doubt that you were playing along to it, so i guess ultimately its a double edge sword

  • @oilyguypaints Thanks for checking out and no, I do not sound as good as Andy! Rock on. Phil :)

  • Right on, Phil! The tone sounded good to me, dude. Another nice looking guitar...how many guitars do you have??? hehe :)

  • @KrethX Thanks John. Just mucking about on a new toy!.Don't get me started on the banjos... I had really bad GAS at one point and had about 20, mainly all cheap ebay low end guitar buys. As I started to learn more about guitars and could play a bit better I flogged all the firewood, gave my nephew a few and now have it down to 5 electrics, one acoustic and two basses... I have run out of room for cases in my room so is a one in one out basis now! (maybe ;)

  • @prboyd I'm assuming we mean two completely different things when talking about "having really bad GAS." hahaha. You should do a video on it (the guitars, not the gas): Phil's Guitar Shoppe or something. :D

  • spectacular work Phil! you are THE MAN!

  • @scbene Thanks Shane! Got some Dio (Rainbow in the Dark) uploaded and processing ;)

  • @prboyd Np and whatdo you say now you have the 335 style guitar I think we need some chuck berry :)

  • @BackingTracks hehe :) Maybe BB King! Plan to use it for Blues/Rock stuff + clean. Bit of Johny Marr maybe aswell.

  • heh heh i like the head nod on the bar Awesome.. Played really well wish i could play as well as you.. One day we will have a jam see who is the bitch master. lol.. Nice guitar and good as ever mate.

  • @SPACEFACE70 I give it 5 stars Gav ;) In a "System Addict" way..! The head nod is me trying to catch the drummers beat! He is a loony on this backing track and plays about 5 different tempos!! I will send the track. Hilarious!!

  • @prboyd Its that annoying snare thats the problem.

  • @SPACEFACE70 Exactamundo. And in the 1st "Chorus" part he ups the tempo like mad!

  • @SPACEFACE70 P.S. On the geetar front. Eat my shorts biaaatch. ;) hehe xxxx

  • @prboyd lol.

  • Nice guitar Phil, I would really like a 335.

It's a hard song to play I know, I tried and gave up a while back, you've got nice timing and tone.

  • @ar2619 Hey Rob! Yeah man, I got real pinky burn later on as you really gotta slide positively into those notes

Not a song you can sit and record 10 times in a row!

Cannie fault this Burny at all Rob. I played this against a £3000+ Custom Shop 335 in the shop (Rikaxxe) in Bristol . This has exactly the woody neck tone I was wanting and most importantly FELT no different to the 335 to play. Same neck, weight, sustain. I was VERY surprised. They are not cheap, but not £3000+...!

  • Thank you for reading this comment

  • @Pagra101 It was emotional

  • @prboyd Once again, thank you... Nice playing though

  • @Pagra101 hehe :) Thanks fella
