@shzze Added to the Stalkie1986's statement, they were also going over 60mph. It was a mountaint descent.... 60mph may be an exaggeration, but I'm repeating what the commentators said. I was watching the tour that day. He broke his elbow, his wrist and his right thigh bone (or femur) in two places.... You have to hit hard to break your femur, that's the biggest bone in your body surrounged by the largest muscles in your body. It effectively ended his career.
