  • (continuation from below)... Then, putt with the conventional grip and make the hand with more strength and steadiness to do the pushing and follow-through of the ball straight to the established line. The other hand with yips (having less steadiness) will only help in adding some speed to the hand without the yips. Thanks

  • This video is indeed incomplete. To cure the yips, one must find the root cause of the yips (the trembling of the hands when putting) and this can be found by putting the ball by ONE HAND first. Test the right hand only to putt and feel if you have the strength and the steadiness to push the ball. Then test the left hand, if it has more strength and steadiness than the other hand. You will notice that both hands are NOT the same in ability to do so. ( read continuation above)

  • @vinzdevency Hi, This video was part of a full golf programme shown on Sky television, the producers then sent me a copy showing the section about me curing the yips. I have just uploaded it exactly as it was sent to me, I added nothing nor removed anything.

  • Good video. I'm curious, what did the motion analysis show - reduction in large or small muscle movements?

  • @thementalcoach Hi, sorry, I have no idea how the Sam putt actually works, this was the work of the team of the Sports and science dept at the University. I only did the treatment and they did the measurement side of things. All I know is that the sam putt accurately measures the 28 most important parameters of the stroke and then evaluates it - e.g. rotation, acceleration, swing duration, impact etc- and graphically displays the results. One of these graphs can be seen on website sportandthemind

  • So where is the cure????? What a waste of time watching this garbage....
