Actually guys, A W16 is interchangable with a V16.  The reason its a W16 is because each cyvlinder is staggered to save space. Its still correct to call it a V16.

@boxajr Actually there is such thing as a V16. The Cadillac Sixteen concept uses a V16 (13.1 liter if I remember correctly) it has 1000 hp and weights a shit ton. It's pretty much a limo haha. But you're right the Bugatti has a quad turbo 8 something liter W16 with 10 freaking radiators!

Now, a VR8 is a V8 at a very small degree, so it shares the same cylinder head. Looking at one of the cylinder banks, it could be mistaken for an inline 8. With that small angle between the cylinders within one of the banks, you get a staggered look, not unlike a W.
