This is so cool! it has been an obsession of mine for years to track it down, and finally found it on youtube I have a vague recollection of it being a theme tune to an early 1960's British science fiction series where an astronaut brings back a disease from space? and I dont mean dr who.

I visited his musical studio in the year 1966 with his son François who's living now

in Geneva. His wife Eva Rehfuss is a granddaughter of Felix Mendelsohn-Bartholdy.

Eva Rehfuss or "Eva Ray" is the sister of Heinz Rehfuss, bariton died in USA 1988.

I also have a vinyl 45, but it's barely playable - too much scratch and crackle. I recall this being a hit in 1967, at a time when I was getting into reading science fiction. I associated this with may of the SF magazine covers I collected, it evoked such alien, other-worldly images. great stuff.

It's been a long long time. I feel in love with this piece back in 1963. I have been trying to get it since then. I heard it in several science clips as background music. This top piece to date and I have been reunited. Great Stuff

Hey there,you cant get this as a single but you can only get it as a compilation 2 disk CD.The compilation 2 disk CD is called "DOWN MEMORY LANE" VOLUME 11.Just pop to your local music store or JB HI-FI store that's where I got mine from.Maybe it's still available or they might have to order it for you.Good Luck and I'm clad you like this instrumental.
