they should've hired some guy from lowell to do the first voiceover, or just ditched the corny accent entirely. johnny depp is of course on point (as usual) except concord is pronounced like conquered.
anyone going to lowell to find kerouac should keep in mind that no prophet is ever welcome in his hometown. it's a beautiful city though, in its own way.
where is the place he could 'never forget' or any jazz bars he went to? I NEED to go their! :D Planning a road trip with a friend and were massive fans of Keroauc and completely agree with every thing he stood for and represented.
Lowell has changed a lot since Jack. There is still a lot of the same. It is not a picturesque city, very much the opposite. Just appreciate the slowness of Lowell when you visit.
Just magnificent. Fully worthy of the man, his work, his town and the river. I'm going to search out a a DVD copy of the full film (available, I presume?). Thank you for a beautiful piece of art.

The reader's accent is wrong. I'm from Lawrence another mill town 12 miles down the Merrimack River that wishes it could be as nice as Lowell.
