  • Creed resembles a palette swap of Carlito

  • Yokozuna (RIP) and Kiyoshi would have been a great tag team from the Land of the Rising Sun. Moonsault off the top rope followed by the Banzai Drop.

  • Pretty good match

  • ...

  • I really enjoy both those guys. They're fantastic. The X Division can save TNA!

  • I think you mean

"the x division can save TNA again" because without the X division back in the day tna would never have got off the ground

  • If the X-Division is going to save TNA...management better get their asses in gear pushing it to the top.

  • his moonsault is the worst version ive ever seen he jus falls backwards there no style or anythin he jus flails in to a backflip wit his legs n arms in some frog shape

  • i don't wanna be an ass but the reason it looks like that is because it's not supossed to be called a moonsault do some research it's the rounding body press oh yeah worst "moonsault ever" lita

  • whos kiyoshi i want to know.

  • He's a guy who was trained by Keiji Mutoh (The Great Muta) and he's a great up and comer who belongs in TNA.

  • Kiyoshi is Akira Raijin of AJPW

  • Creed is the only wrestler i like on TNA cause of his gimmick lol

  • concequences is coo :D

  • Great Muta knockoff!

  • Hey Bruhmiller, He was trained by the Great Muta, Look it up before you make yourself look even more like a dumbass.

  • Watch the Rough Cut, you'll understand.

  • TNA USES CREED SO WRONG

  • I don't know why u got a thumbs down for telling the truth. Creed shoulda got the X-Division title MONTHS ago, with all due respect to Eric Young. I'd rather see a guy like Consequences hold the title than a 20-somethin year old man who acts like a retarded knock-off of the Hurricane. too bad this guy Kiyoshi gets to cut in line in front of Creed though...

  • You are telling all those things that came to my mind when i saw this. Well i guess some aj-styles mark gave me thumbs down but i don't care anyways. I like eric young, he is funny but consequences creed is one of tna's biggest talents. He got mic skills, agility and strength

  • Creed doesn't get a lot of time on the mic, but he does tend to cut some pretty decent promos. he's over with the fans, n he's flashy in a totally charismatic way. the only time I saw an actual injustice against him was that PPV match against Petey Williams last year. can't remember where, tho. anyway, if Creed won the title, maybe there'd be some decency restored to the X-Division. maybe a tag title run with Jay Lethal will be the start towards a good push? we can only hope...

  • Jay Lethal? They made him a jobber nowadays. I mean remember where he was X-Division champ? Those times are over! Now hes jobbing against Chris Sabin who got a huge push. Well i like Chris Sabin so i don't mind but i mind that they screw some of their talent. I mean Jay Lethal and Consequences Creed would form a great tag team.

  • yes, its sad how Jay was worked over to Sabin, just for a tournament. but think of how far TNA can take him teaming up with Creed. it's like Hernandez's well-deserved push for the WH title. I look forward to how these Feast or Fired guys can make the best out of their title opportunities n shake things up in TNA indefinitely

  • Yea but i don't think so as tna already got enough tag teams but now with matt morgan turning heel on abyss maybe abyss looks for a new tag team partner which could be consequences creed!! i mean do you remember him as a tag team with jay lethal? it was great! Yea and hernandez really deserves a push but i would like to see him going 1on1 with abyss or matt morgan that would be a monster mash

  • Young is an amazing talent. If you look at him in border City Wrestling, you will see why he is great. He has amazing mat skills and also he is great on the mic.

  • hey its kowabata he lost to corp last weekend good match.

weall hope tna uses him well

  • Kiyoshi is a great wrestler and hopefully TNA uses him right

  • Kiyoshi rocks

  • YYAYYY

    P.S. It's Akira Raijin.

  • No doubt about it,The debut of Kiyoshi was an unforgettable moment.I expect Kiyoshi to have quite a future ahead of him.Go Kiyoshi.I watch both WWE and TNA.I love them both.Oh yeah :)

  • it was a pleasant surprise to have kiyoshi win this match. wwe needs to take a page from tna and not be predictable all the time...

  • Sabin vs Shelley at Genesis

  • I hope so

  • If anyone thinks that Kiyoshi is not Akira Raijin - watch the video of him doing a moonsault. They do it the exact same way, and wear the exact same pants.

  • I wish TNA would stop ripping off gimmicks and start being original like they used to be.

It seems like tna is randomly throwing stuff against the wall to see what sticks and so far none of it really has because there were no thoughts out into it or it didn't made sense.

  • I think that Shelley or Sabin is gonna fake an injury so one of them can't wrestle in the final, then THE FALLEN ANGEL comes out!

  • i bet sabin and shelley are going to be the last 2 people

  • They are, I read spoilers and it said they would/

  • Kyoshi impressed me. I never really payed much attention to him in AJPW as Akira Rajin, but he stands out and reminds me of the Great Muto in early 90s WCW.

I think we're on the brink of a really exciting time in TNA. The acquisition of Brutus Magnus, Doug Williams, Kiyoshi and possibly a few others (cough cough Nathan Jones, Elijah Burke) I'm interested to see how these guys will develop in TNA. That along with the Frontline vs MEM. Can't wait to see how everything goes.

  • Yoshihiro Tajiri is too loyal to the WWE to goto TNA. He still tours with them overseas.

  • Sole Food at 0:53. Any Chuck Taylor fans?

  • you are correct sir lol chuckie t is awesome!!!

  • i hope Chris Sabin gets the X-title!

  • i am sad hiroshi tanahashi left tna he was good

  • It seems that Hiroshi Tanahashi didn't sign with TNA, but Akira Raijin/ Kiyoshi did.

  • i am sad that they treated him like a glorified jobber. he was a former multi time IWGP champion. I understand he would've had to make a bigger commitment to TNA in order to really get the ball rolling on a push, but something between him and Joe or even AJ woulda been good.

I still think there's money in a NJPW vs TNA live television special from the Hammerstein in NYC. Angle vs Nagata II, Joe vs Hiroki Goto, AJ vs Tanahashi. Think of the media opps just bein in NYC, fans will buy it

  • They should push Kiyoshi and give him a run with the X-Division championship, or at least put him in the finals.

  • I agree about both things. Either bring back Scott D'amore or James Mitchell to be his manager like Gary Hart was for the Great Muta back in 1989.

  • This is AJPWs Akira Raijin

  • look closely at 0:26 Creed did a full backflip without touching Kiyoshi.

    =D

  • YOSHI!!! HE should use the green mist.

  • Kiyoshi is Tajiri

  • It's Akira Raijin, actually. Last I heard, Tajiri had retired.

  • It's Raijin.

  • he looks like muta, hopefully tna lets him do some work..... judging by his first match he looks like he has talent

  • wow....muta ripoff

  • Considering he works for the promotion that Muto is president of, I doubt Keiji Muto minds.

  • I doubt that Keiji Muto would look like the Great Muta we all know again since he's now bald. He's got a different look.

  • y does TNA give Creedd shots but not the belt

  • This guy isn't from NJPW.

He's Akira Raijin from All Japan.

  • you are exactly right on the money!!!! Kiyoshi IS Akira Raijin from all japan

  • YYAYYY TAJIRI IS BACK

  • the fuck you talking about?

  • GReat idea TNA. Creed is one of for up and coming and you slapped him down.

    You are fucking stupid

  • well he just became a TNA Tag Team Champion at the last taping so there not using him to bad

  • TAJIRI!!!!!!!!

    TAJIRI IS BACK!!!!

  • Kiyoshi could be big in TNA, they should bring back James Mitchell to be his mouthpiece

  • This was uprising in a good way. I felt as though they were gonna have another NJPW job to another TNA star just to build them up. But this time, hopefully, they are building up some someone from NJPW.

  • Looks like he hit Creed with the top of his head on that moonsault.

    Diving Headsault?

  • Hey, it's the Great Muta, kinda.

I'm loving the NJPW / TNA relationship.

I'll be in Japan January 2010, I see TNA is doing the Tokyo Dome next month, hopes up for 2010 aswell!

  • dude, who in the blue hell is Barry Windham?

    O_o

  • oh hey some one can speak english, oh wait did you steal that from the rock? is that how you learned english? yeahh

  • thats like not knowing who blackjack mulligans son is

  • Ah shut up. The way you're talking, you sound so ignorant. If you're unable to type "Kiyoshi" you're either ignorant or just stupid.

Anyway, wrestlers share finishing moves all the time, he hardly "stole" it. Plus, you could claim Sean O'Haire stole it from Barry Windham with your logic. :P

  • hey no one can understand what he was saying. maybe he learned english from wrestling's catch phrases. lemme guess the next thing he's gonna say "creed should've stomped a mud pie coz that's the bottoms lines"

  • I think that might be Santino Marella under the name BundeyHardy.

  • come to think of it, i can understand santino marella better than mushmouth right there.

  • I thought Creed would of won that match, but I was surprised that Kiyoshi won this one.

  • Yeah I know. I was surprised too...

  • I have a feeling that they're going to have the Motor City Machineguns battle each other in the finals.

  • Thank you TNA for giving us Two X division matches and great ones on this week's impact. Please even after a champion is crowned keep doing so. Triple Threat Matches X division title matches etc. Please keep giving us two matches as make them as long as these two were.

  • im actualy digging this guy.....and considering how old the real muta is, i do like the fact that they have someone younger carrying that gimmick

and this places interest back in the x-division.....this tournament is having great matches

  • Just like Jay Lethal is carrying on the Macho Man gimmick, Akira Raijin is now carrying on the Great Muta. However, they taking the personas into the 21st Century. I'm interested in how far Akira Raijin will go as Kiyoshi.

  • for some reason he reminds me of the 80s version of Muta from the old NWA

  • He's mentored by the Great Muta. A lot of people love the Great Muta from the 80's. He had a great rivalry with Sting.

  • Of course, since Muto has taken over AJPW.

A feud with him and Eric Young would highly seem similar to Sting vs. Muta from the 80s.

For some reason it just does seem like it could click well.

  • I want Kiyoshi to be built up well by TNA. I can also see a feud between he and Black Machismo.

  • Hopefully it wont be a screw up like Kazushi Miyamoto when he was there

  • To be fair, Kazushi Miyamoto is a general screw up in life.
