Every morning he used be intoxicated, and he used to bind monkeys with the saddle of a horse and make the horse run.

Agreed. The event itself was truly tragic, no doubt. However, mourning for eternity is unIslamic. Islam teaches us to "move on", not to beat ourselves senseless each year for something that happened centuries ago. A better solution would be to channelize all that energy into something more constructive, in order to unite the Muslim Ummah against common enemies.

It is traditionally proved from the salaf (the past Ulama) that "Raziallau Anhu" is written and spoken for the Sahaba, and "Rahmatullah Alaih" is written and spoken for non-Sahabah like Tabeen etc. Therefore, there seems no wrong to say "Rahmatullah Alaih" for Yazeed.
Abu Muhammad al-Maqdisi said, when he was asked about Yazeed: according to what I have heard he is neither to be cursed nor to be loved. He said, I also heard that our grandfather Abu Abd-Allaah ibn Taymiyah was asked about Yazeed and he said: we do not deny his good qualities or exaggerate about them. This is the fairest opinion.

karbala tragedy is very sad. my heart goes out to all the members of mr. husain's family. but it was not a isolated incident. it was the continuation of mr. muhammad's policy of eliminating the opponents by violence. he followed this policy to silence all his opponents, once he gained power in medina. he ordered the assassnitation of asma bint marwan, kaab ibn ashraf, kinana ibn rafi, salman b. huqayq and many more. he even ordered the slaughtering of POWs after battle of badar (sura 8:67).

Even Zakir Naik loves Imam Hussain and respects him, but rather people have misunderstood him and the media has blown this thing out of proportion. Brother, whether its Abu Lulu or Yazid, Allah will judge them, coz we cnt do anything about it. Imam Hussain and Hazrat Umar both died for Islam, thus they are both the greatest Shuhada ever. And inshallah Allah will reward them both greatly. We should worry abt today and make ouselves good muslims and unite. Allah will not ask us whether we cursed Yazid or not. according to ibn ishaq in "sirat rasull allah", mr. muhammad even slaughtered the 900 members of banu qureza and sold the women and children into slavery and bought the weapons with that money. further more he took rihana, the chief's wife as his mistress or spoil of war. he took to bed the very same night without giveing her a chance to mourn the death of her family.
i would encourage everyone to read the "sirat rasu allah" by ibn ishaq, its english translation was printed in pakistan.

It is traditionally proved from the salaf (the past Ulama) that "Raziallau Anhu" is written and spoken for the Sahaba, and "Rahmatullah Alaih" is written and spoken for non-Sahabah like Tabeen etc. Therefore, there seems no wrong to say "Rahmatullah Alaih" for Yazeed.

I respect the good he does but i also hate the bad he does. I think he is a Khariji. I also hate the shia's.
Sunni's sho attack wahhabis but shouldn't join hands with shias when doing it.
