Not an M4, I'm not sure exactly what it is but I own an M4 and that's certainly not it. I know it's not an M3 in the video either so it's either an M1 or M2.
The Benelli guy that told you it was an M4 was probably just some ignorant guy hired off the street that vaguely knows firearms.
Hate how the sound is also messed up in a lot of shotgun videos. When you hear this thing in person it is LOUD. BLAM! BLAAAM!! It's the meanest thing on the range.
No clip? No fvcking clip? You mean in combat where every second you delay your enemy is closing on you..and you are putting the ammo in the weapon round by round?.
Awesome, I just got mine at a Big 5 for home defense. After firing a few shots at the range, I was very pleased with the results, it gets the job done swiftly, and the design is absolutely magnificent.
Actually, this is my bad... your video depicts the Benelli M2 ENTRY/CQB. This weapon is the 14" barreled version of the M2 TACTICAL. How do I know?... it's called RESEARCH. Now you try it...
@GunWebsites Well, he didn't know what he was talking about. That's a Benelli M2... there are distinct differences. The handguard is completely different and that style of handguard has never been offered on the M4. Notice the shape of the trigger guard. The M2 clearly has a more rounded trigger guard as displayed in this video. M4s are not, and have never been made, with a rounded trigger guard like that. These differences are obvious and can be confirmed by simply going to Benelli's website.
Not if you're only doing it to hear the bang. But if its self preservation you're after you should make every shot as if you're firing at someone who's trying to kill you. That way if the time comes that it's for real, proper stance and grip will be a natural thing.
ok well, this was obviously a media day where we were reviewing firearms along with hundreds of other media people.. hardly combat training / life or death
Not sure how / why you felt the need to comment on the stance ..
Im an instructor. I think its a bit insane that someone who represents Gun Websites doesnt understand the importance of proper technique in practice for developmement of muscle memory. You're basically telling the public do it any way you want, it's just practice!
And why on earth would you want to handle a weapon in front of hundreds of media personnel as if it were your first time to ever fire a weapon? Shouldn't you be concerned about professionalism?
IMO you are going way beyond what 'normal' people are concerned about from a 52 second video like this
You don't see me commenting on your KRISS video about the "proper way" to clear a Type 2 malfunction safely. Especially at an indoor range with other shooters present...
I don't think so, but there is a slight chance. The M4 has a full length tube opposed to the extension (M1, M2, M3) like what is in this video. The way the M4 barrel mounts it would be more work and trouble to remove the extra section of the tube. Plus why would someone remove the extra portion of the tube to only put an extension on?
Even though it wouldn't matter but I don't see why someone would remove the picatinny from the M4, this is one reason why I believe it to be a M1 Entry model.
Looks like a M1 entry model and not an M4. The M4 has a full length tube and does not use an extension like in your video. Also the barrel nut (sorry if I'm using the wrong name) on an M4 is toward the end of the barrel and not at the front handguard thus requiring the extension.
I've seen a M4 SBS and this one looks nothing like it. Are you sure you shot and M4 and not an M1?
The only thing thats more dumb than people flipping out about the title is the woman in the back round shooting a gun! wtf is that?

yes

you are correct, but short shotguns are regulated, not illegal
You can buy / own / make them, you just need to pay a tax and do some extra paperwork

why would it not be?

sure, but it would need to be plugged so it only carries 2 rounds (in most states)

it would be a bit harder to huntbirds with it due to the sights u recomend using a slug load for big game in it
shitfredis 2 years ago
i'm pretty sure its an m4 with a short barrel, i've seen a few before and on camera its kind of hard to tell but i'm 95% sure its an M4 SBS

SheerH8 is correct. That is not a benelli M-4. It is a benelli m1, m2, or m3.
onyxpilot 2 years ago
whats the effective range on one of those?
iComment17 2 years ago
Like any shotgun it would depend on the type of shell (ammo) used.
Generally, 75 yards would be about the max range for effective shots, out to 25 the shotgun is most effective though
GunWebsites 2 years ago
Looks like a M1 entry model and not an M4. The M4 has a full length tube and does not use an extension like in your video. Also the barrel nut (sorry if I'm using the wrong name) on an M4 is toward the end of the barrel and not at the front handguard thus requiring the extension.
