it worked fine for me, too...for a while...that is, until they asked me to pay for it because, otherwise, you can't use Prism at all and, consequently, you cannot play the video file...and let me tell you, it's not fun to realize that right before you have to do a presentation!
does the youtube downloader download an flv file because if so I already have a program that does that. If it converts it however I will have to download this youtube downloader program which I don't want to do.
Please look over the video again, it does mention that. However, the youtube download I highly recommend. It downloads videos straight from youtube into an flv. then, use prism to convert it to .mpg. youtube downloader does convert, but not into .mpg. prism is easier. thanks. please respond with any more questions.
Your right. I asked that question 1 second before the video answered my question for me. I downloaded Prism and am happy with it. Thank you very much for this video.
everything went fine until the very end when I embedded the vid into the Powerpoint, and the black box showed up. Then, if I were to click "preview" or on the black box itself, nothing would happen. So, I can't play the video in Powerpoint :(
I DL the you tube downloader and the prism did as the prompts told me in the video, but when click on the "ok" to DL it prompt me to login to my account(???) I iput the info. and a box pops up saying... "no flash video found?

So everything was working fine, but i cant get that little box to appear(the youtube box to download) the little box after you upload it. so its really confusing now.
No, since the convert button does not work well, and can not recognize many different formats. I do see what you are saying, though. I still like using Prism, completely free of charge. Another way you can do this is by downloading Real player. Once downloaded, there is a box above each video (not just youtube) to download them. I use this too. However, you will still need to use Prism or another converter to convert the video so that you can upload it, edit it, or view it in another...
