  • Oh it works!! THX!

  • hey man, i dont know if you use after effects but when i render in after effects just adding one prest from magic bullet it takes like 20mins for a 20 second video! take the fucking piss! how can i speed up the process or is this normal? i render it in H.264 yet its still slow and is like 200+ MB

  • @lordifrit1 dunno. I use cheap stuff like sony vegas platinum & that's about it . . . sorry.

  • so can sony vegas10 not the pro version import h264 from the t2i?

  • Can i just drop the raw H264 video file into the timeline an than just render it as Sony AVC without coverting the H264 first?

  • @MrBillyflash sure. I think that'd work.

  • @Samotastic same.

  • Is it so stupid to ask what happens after rendering it to M2TS format? It did preserve much of the quality, which is exactly what I'm looking for. But it is virtually unplayable on any everyday player that I know of.

While it is playable on Vegas, the preview is still quite blurry. I wanna play the edited version as it should be played. Should I really download a specific player for this format or is there any work-around here? Or should I convert it once more? To a format that YouTube accepts?

  • @BlackxPanther .mt2s is primarily associated with AVCHD. Try rendering to Sony AVC . . . that'll give you an .mp4 file which will play fine in most any player, including on youtube. Forget .mt2s unless you have a specific reason for wanting / needing that type of file, which it sounds like you don't.

  • @mreae But rendering it to Sony AVC produces an M2TS file. I'm not sure if that's how it should be. I could be doing it wrong. But anyway, I found out converting it once more into AVI with Prism after editing it in Vegas solves the problem. Thanks again.

  • @BlackxPanther It should produce an mp4 file. You shouldn't convert it again after you're done. Each conversion further reduces the quality of your video.

  • Hi, this is a great render, I use it for gameplay videos, the only problem is that it makes the video alittle darker. Any help, it doesnt make it alot darker but i dont like it. and If i add color curves it will probably look weird

  • @TarikProductions Try brightening it then rendering it. Don't think that'll look weird. It'll look fine.

  • @Samotastic Mine crashes also! I have no idea why though. -___-

  • Life safer =D

  • Dude , am having canon 550 D , but am not able put my video footages into sony vegas for editing , whenever i try to do , i get only audio , video wont be shown , video screen ll be completely Black black , could you plz help , how to get my 550 D video footages into sony vegas for editing ??? :) .. thank you :) ..

  • @sye005 Yes, transcode your videos to a proper editing format first. Try using the matrox codecs and prism video converter. Works well.

  • @sye005 If u still looking for answer :D... U can work with raw Ti files in Vegas, but u need to drop QuickTime version to 7.6.3 or lower , I was using 7.6.2 it worked well.., so Uninstall quicktime, install older version, et voila...

  • Thanks a ton bro!
