Education is important,but what is education. Something that has been changed and altered according to big corporations,which is far away from reality? I think education is learning and that can be done by yourself or even at universities and schools,learn what you feel is right but don't follow everything they preach. I think at the end of the day, compulsory schooling is a business, not an education. It's about training us, not educating us. Training us to be "human servants" as you so adequately put it.

I wish there were alternatives to school, at least in the way that it's been formatted today. I know there's home-schooling, but then kids miss out on social interaction and another solution needs to be found in that arena.

The youth need to be educated about important things. This isn't happening anymore.

I've been thinking about the "human servants" thing. It might even be more apt to say that we are human slaves. I know in contrast to the actual slaves that are out there this might seem like an exaggeration.. But I also feel like as humans we adapt to our environment's so quickly that in almost any situation we can become complacent if that's where our head is.
