No doubt that Melanie has a beautiful voice; however, Josh voice is unique. He showed to be himself , so humble and showed us that he can sing. Always kept his unique way to sing and never copied anyone. Melanie copied Mirah, and Whitney all through the show. I wish Josh the best of luck and can not wait to buy his CD. I hated when Simmon critized you and never critized Melanie. He wanted her to win and she did, but you are going to be very sucessful and do really good. We love you Josh!

He's going to the studio to do his own thing and 5 million is NOTHING compared to what's in store for him. I said from the start he needs second place if he's going to reach his full potential and he made it. Plus, he's the only one among the contestants with longevity. He's going to be around a long long time.

That's a really tough song to sing with Josh's voice in the lower register, and their harmonies actually worked. He belongs up there ~ what a pro. I've voted max on twitter, online and 50 calls so far. Josh did the best tonight, but afraid there are more aggressive voting pushes by the Rene fans, even if he was so out of key!
this is not how i pictured the finale. the judges should not be allowed to comment on a celebrity duet performance. the final 3 have made it this far that they deserve the respect to let america decide how their performance went. it's disrespectful to the artist as well even though nothing particularly bad was said about her.
