  • I started lifting at 18 "religiously". I did 4 sets of 6 reps of the deadlift and started at 225x6 max. 8 months later I did 405x6 (after going from 135lbs-205lbs, lots of muscle and even more fat). I went back the next week and was so over trained I couldn't even fathom deadlifting again no matter what the weight, I literally took several months off because it was so severe. Have you ever heard of this type of over training before?

  • @Elite1987 Of course, happens all the time. This is why I always tress proper progressive programming to prevent such burnout

  • any tips on how to recognize biofeedback?

  • WOW great info

  • I don't need to understand any of this. I'm a client, and this is the expertise I pay for. It would be great to know more at the granular level, but I have to focus my intellectual concerns elsewhere (my little brain and all... LOL). I can't even tell you how COOL it is to get this sort of Coaching. Big thumbs up, guys!!

  • What happens if you don't taper?

  • @mjabon1 Then you can't really properly "peak" and worse you can burnout

  • hey scott you should get some fotage of kevin powerlifting that would be awsome to see

  • @lionel49334 Will do, but you can check out Kevin in full training mode in my "Whole Body Hypertrophy" video program which you can get on my website - he's a machine in it !

  • Thanks for the info.
