Probably the message of this song resonates with me more than any other I've heard in all of music. I don't say that lightly, either. As Greg said "[it's] a hopeful tune." Fills me with optimism in a world where it's increasingly easier and simpler to be a pessimist. Looking back, humankind has faced seemingly insurmountable challenges that we thought we wouldn't survive ... yet here we are. There was a way, both collectively and individually speaking.

I agree with you New America is always labeled as the 'infamous' BR album but whilst it isnt so fast and full of angry sterotypical punk lyrics I think BR are very good at that sort of slower more meaningful song and I definately think New America is infact a very good album.
