Actually, from most of the people that have driven all of them, the Evo 6 is usually people's 1st choice that they would want to own. (It was the last car made before they changed the homologation rules, so it actually had to be close to the rally car specs)
with all the computer shit and oxygen sensors, and shit like that in cars now days, its hard for them to run rich...cars would run rich when they didnt have 02 sensors, or the cam was bad, or they had a new one, or the carb was fucked....very hard for modern cars to run lean/rich cause its all adjusted on the fly by the computer
On an evo; When the MAF Sensor value gets into a certain range of flow rating calculated against engine load % the evo starts running rich from factory to ensure detonation does not occour.
This usually occurs outside the normal operating area of the engine; such as if you have installed a MBC; or EBC without a computer tune. The factory rich characteristic of modded DSMS&EVOS allows them to use a device that takes advantage of the factory rich setting; the AFC (air fuel controller). By reducing the perceived flow of air through the MAF; it reduces the fuel that is dumped into the intake stream.

put it in 3rd gear, from low rpm, and step down till it hits the rev limiter, then yes they take their foot off the gas.

The IX's are slightly faster in the quarter mile than the X's. The X's have better handling.
Both are good cars, but IX's are loud and uncomfortable (I have a IX)... the X is very comfortable when compared to a IX.
Both have questionable build quality... rust on the IX and pedals that snap off on the X.

What I find hilarious is how little you know about the Evo platform. No Evo has ever come with SAYC in the US. The Evo X is the very first. The Evo 9 MR came with ACD (active center differential) but thats it.
It would help if you owned an Evo, or hell, knew anything about the platform before running your mouth like some e-thug who doesn't get enough attention. Get back in your j-body and stfu.

WHP vs flywheel. And encase you never noticed not all dyno's read the same. Take for instance a Mustang Dyno, they normally ready 60 or so whp less than the rest.

umm the evo X puts out (on the wheels) 222 hp if you dont believe go to 419 garage and watch tham dyno a stock evo you kinda need to study your cars a bit more bro just a little heads up (and to all those guys who say no its puts out 300 hp the engine puts out 300 not the car)
