Also how different from an existing game does a TCG have to be to avoid being sued by existing companies if your ideas are "inspired" by them? For example if you made a game similar to Pokemon or MTG but all different characters, card laid out differently, different names for everything etc but maybe you have similar rules and gameplay overall?
What do you think about making an online trading card game as a way to enter the industry rather than going through big companies? I have a friend who is a programmer so I would just need to design the cards and rules.
Hey I got passed down thousands of comic books n toys really old as fk and was wondering if u could possibly give me some price ranges on a few products. Msg me please.
Don't for get to use an envelope that is of high quality (even tamper proof tape) and can be opened by a court to verify that is wasn't packaged after the fact.
I like and subbed you because your videos showed how to make stuff like that thunder cats sword and have fun for a couple dollars Which is good because I don't have a lot of money so thankyou
Good vid bro! It's always smart to have your work registered as a safety precaution for extra security in the event these big companies try to rip off your idea. Despite the Berne Convention saying that in anything you make is your property as long as your name on it, do it anyway before submitting it to these large companies.
Thanks for the video. So far I can't think of any good ideas for my board game. It seems like as I've gotten older my imagination has started to fade.
This is a bit of a long video, but I tried to squeeze in as much information needed for those who would like insights on submitting a game idea to larger manufacturers. Part 1 of many video tutorials to come.
If you aren't interested in learning how to enter the industry, don't watch. This is for novices who are curious to learn what submissions are all about. Just my insights for those who are interested. Cheers

@Yarcofin game play is also copy-written. If your game plays exactly like another, there is a chance for legal issues

Thanks. To anyone who reads this I sent in an idea for a comic into many companies but they don't take it seriously because I'm 13. What should I do?
