This stuff works but we can't consume all the wood on the planet trying to run things the way we do now. Some of you in rural areas I can see it but we in the cities need to leverage our lawmakers to build decent public transportation and allow us to carry weapons when we are on the streets that is the only way Americans will use public transport we have to be able to defend ourselves. We need to use as much solar as possible wood gas could bridge the gaps. Oil will soon be too expensive.
I'm not sure, but it wouldn't be too hard to crunch the numbers. Gasified vehicles are definitely not for people who don't work on their own cars though ... at least, not yet.
plans for making a gasifier and cooler like yours out there some where?
interested in tinkering a bit.

you can do modifications so it wont if you only want it to run on woodgas

Thanks for the inspiration.
Going to convert a 1990 f250 300 straight 6.
The whole concept looks easier than I thought with the ball valve air/gas regulators you and others are using.
Best of success!

Are you running on just woodgas or is there still some gasoline being injected into the inlet manifold?
valtradrivern111 3 years ago
Its was either 100% gas or 100% woodgas

Is it worth the time and energy or would it be more efficent to have a gasifire create power at home then drive an electric car.

nice job! how did you connect it to the intake of your truck?
sedera12 3 years ago 4
Thanks; I just piped the cooled gas directly into the air box where the intake was before and used a simple valve to regulate fresh air intake.
